I found this week's UPF to be a bit... lacking, especially when Ryan started playing Burnout despite the already-existent 30 minute video of it on the site. I guess they can't all be Space Jam readings and trippy indie games.

I like how they are both fully aware of what is killing them....and they continue to just let it shoot them without killing it. I also like watching Patrick struggle and then justify why...just made me laugh. Some of the enemies remind me of that one HL2 horror mod that you start out as a guy with a camera...

Also, I like how they don't save the most powerful weapons for the most powerful monsters. Sometimes I wonder if they do stuff like that intentionally to make the stuff funnier.

So I was talking to this guy at the store the other day and he told me I need to get a haircut.... oh hi everyone... welcome... didnt realize the camera was rolling and just felt like talking because I wanted to let you all know that we dont even try to have any level of production with what we do... you know... because we're uprofeesional

Honestly, this was a pretty disappointing UPF this week. Three of the games already have video on the site. You guys have giant Steam libraries and binders full of crazy ass games duders have sent you. Surely somebody could have found something to do besides rehashing this week's content.

I love the site and all the guys, but frankly this was lazy and kind of boring.

I liked UPF when it was some silly games they wanted to play rather than stuff I've already seen this week.

Haha jeff mentioned my idea I asked him on tumblr about traveling the world eating foreign fast food.

I just started watching this and after reading the comments during the intro, I kind of don't want to now because of this. I just got done watching those Quick Looks, too. I'll keep this in the future viewings pile when I'm completely bored.

The show was okay. Too much repeated stuff that had been done in QL's.

Even if they played older full games, that would be cool. Perhaps do a send off to the old consoles by playing some of the older 360, PS3 titles.

It's only just clicked that the shirts were a Vinny's birthday thing. They're basically cosplaying as him.

Less rehashing of other content from the same week please, thank you...although I'll admit that shit was getting good towards end of the HL mod segment.

@unilad: They revisited Perfect Dark Zero in the welcome back Tricaster party, awful awful awful.

@rorie Pro-tip on cutting your own hair: if you use a buzzer, just make sure that you figure out the "angle" you need to go against the hair right. The back of the head tends to need you to go across at different angles. If you do that, you can take care of the back of the top of your head pretty easily, if you just go at it from all angles. I do my own high and tight and I'm super freakin' picky, so I know that problem well. It's because the hair doesn't really go in a uniform direction back there.

Yeah not a fan of the games they played this week, due to the fresh videos with them, but the banter as always is awesome. :-)

Not gonna lie, the game selections this week were pretty shitty and boring. Perhaps the worst yet. Others here seem to agree with me. You remember last week when you played another world, mr. mosquito and that candy game? That was one of the best, imo, and I feel pretty confident in saying that that's the the kinda stuff we're looking for. Better luck next time guys.

I see that they recorded this on black shirt day. Well everyone except Brad of course who had to be all fancy and different, typically Brad, and wear a dark blue shirt instead of the mandatory black shirt. I guess we know who isn't a team player.

@davidh219: And last week in the chat, everyone kept complaining about how those games were boring or dumb.

I personally do not understand about rating the quality or critiquing professional fridays. It its core, the show is just the staff hanging out and playing random stuff. It has such a casual vibe, I think that complaints against particular episodes miss the point. I am not claiming that those who didn't like the episode are not allowed to their opinions, I just don't understand what makes one episode better than the other.

Of course, it could be because money is involved to see them. Also, they give me something to do while I exercise, so it's not like I investing major time.

Cry of Fear was still a fun time, it was a bit lackluster since I'd just seen the quick looks for the games they played, a bit earlier.

Vinny, you're a coward for letting Patrick run away with the chainsaw dude while waiting like 50 feet away. Way to go partner! ;))

Whenever they play an old game and I have no affinity with it, I tend to enjoy it less than when they play an old game I also played.

Also, I haven't watched a ton of Unprofessional Friday's yet to be honest, probably like 10 or 15, but it seems they mostly play older games. It's cool, but I think I'd like a 50/50 split better.

I wasn't one to complain though. It is what it is.

Second, maybe they need to set up dual feeds when doing co-op, or at least have Andy learn the switchboard better. They just kept the camera on Patrick's dead body while talking about cool shit happening off screen that we couldn't see. Rookie mistake.

It'd be cool if they revisited PDZ, but if not, they did an excellent and hilarious Perfect Dark Zero playthrough on one of the parts of the Welcome Back Tricaster Party.
