Ex-Sith apprentice Starkiller will be stomping mad and hunting down his girl on multiple platforms, acccording to LucasArts. The publisher recently revealed Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II will appear on the Xbox 360, PS3, PC, Wii and Nintendo DS on October 26, 2010.

Man I'm excited for this game. I enjoyed the first one, this will hopefully make some much needed improvements.

I really wish a publisher out there would officially announce that a game is legitimately coming to EVERY platform, and just have absolutely everything...360, PS3, Wii, PSP, DS, 
iPhone, GBA, PS2, Xbox, GameCube, Atari 2600, Colecovision, SNES, PSone, N64, Saturn, Dreamcast, Wonderswan, and of course the Virtual Boy.

Just a note: pretty sure that crappy outline is a rain thing, it only seems to be in rain pics, and it is always up rather than all around.

Nice article, although i'll stay with the first one. This clone story doesn't convince me. 

Ugh, the plot sounds horrendous.
I was extremely hated the plot in the first one, so much so, I refuse to accept it as canon.

Interesting that the PSP was left out. And I hope they fix the flaws from the first game.

Sweet - the PC version is actually pretty decent post latest patch so I'm looking forward to playing it there, was worried they'd forgo that version. Who knows? Maybe they've learnt from their prior mistakes (although, looking at the mess Black Rock made in porting Pure to the PC, and the same issues being prevalent in Split/Second, the precedent that has been set doesn't look great). 
 
Hopefully the level design can live up to the art direction this time - although, having played through the Jedi Temple and Tatooine bonus maps in the Sith edition, you can really feel a marked improvement in how they've built the locales from a mechanical standpoint; shorter but sweeter - way less repetitive corridors, way more variety and an overall tighter feel.

If they bring this game to the Wii and not use MotionPlus, the peripheral is officially a failure.
 

I watched The Mist for the first time last weekend. Now I can't think of Force Unleashed without seeing that guy getting stabbed and thrown out of a supermarket.

Eh, I couldn't be more indifferent towards this game. I hated how generic the first one was, and am personally really burned out of the prequel timeline (not that I was ever into it in the first place).

The clone thing sounds a little dumb, but if they can make the story work and fix the combat I'll happily buy this.

The whole clone thing sounds totally lazy and is just a lame excuse to make a sequel to a game that wasn't that great to begin with.

Why no PSP this time? Anyway I really liked the first game so I guess I am looking forward to this one. The whole premise sounds both cool yet cheap and lazy at the same time just so they could have Starkiller back. I guess we'll have to wait and see which way it goes because I thought the story of the first one wasn't half bad for a Star Wars game.

So Vader cloned him so he can chase him around the Universe trying to kill him?

I don't want fewer but tougher enemies, I want more but weaker enemies! All the force-resistant enemies in the first game were just annoying to fight and negated the purpose of you being a supposedly all-powerful badass. I wanna hack through Stormtroopers by the dozens with a more realistic approach to what a lightsaber actually does when it makes contact with human beings.

Personally I've had it with Star Wars games. I bought Lego SW - the Complete Saga for the humor and because it took place during the films chronology. I don't care much for the expanded universe canon and the "be a jedi/sith and swing a pretty and shiny lightsaber" focus of most of the SW of the last decade. I miss the old  X-Wing and Tie Fighter games.

I love geeking out when chopping some dude in half with a lightsaber. Not only that but I liked the first force unleashed game. The story line was not the best star wars tale that I had ever seen, it was better than episode one. Fact!

Wait he's a clone? AWWWW COME ON!!!! Are they trying to make it look like they're not putting any effort into this game. 

Hate to sound like a fanboy or somethin' dirty like that, but this is pretty silly universe-wise. Why clone him when you could just... you know... get a new secret apprentice and train him better this time...? Oh well, I enjoyed the first one and hope this one is better in more ways than one.

The only good thing from the first one was the story and the music.
