This was really cool Brad, appreciate the time you took out of your reviewing session for this. Keep em coming when you've got some spare moments. Otherwise go sleep :).

Video Blog: Playing Through StarCraft II
Thanks so much for the outstanding SC2 coverage so far. Your insight into the game and its deeper mechanics is truly appreciated.
One thing that I'm still wondering about would be how exactly the persistence in singleplayer actually works. There's no heroes, right (not counting Kerrigan, Raynor and other story characters without gameplay relevance)? So that metagame-techtree and the powered-up mercenary units are pretty much the extent of it? Is it reminiscent of some original plans for WC3 I seem to recall (persistent armies etc.)?
Anyway, great work with the GB marathon - can't wait for today's TNT :) .... and I'm not even sure I'll buy the game since I'm one of those Relic Entertainment/ World in Conflict heretics ;)
Do you know anyone who has no experience with (This Kind Of) RTSs? Because that describes me, and I want to get into the genre. Also, I approve of video blogs, and not just with StarCraft.
I wanna deliberately start in a low league. I always placed in gold league in the beta and by the end got into platinum, but I don't like having to concentrate so much, I rather chill against slower players, expand and build armies
Yes, I'd like more video logs of this. It's kindling my interest in this game... I loved the first one, but that was so long ago and I'm mostly out of RTS's now.
Very informative. It's made me consider buying the game... Pity I don't always have access to a PC. Got a Macbook. It'd be cool if it was for the Mac though.
"Anybody know who does that rabbit person painting? Or the name of it? "
not sure if it's a painting per se, it looks like what's-his-nuts from bioshock, it's probly just a schwag poster he got during one of their many mailbag editions..
Personally, I have never played Starcraft, but I really like this type of Video Blog and I hope to see more in the future about games each member of the crew is playing for review.
This was a nice touch, a progressive lead up to the eventual review. I also liked how it was from home and a little less formal than usual... Lots of good insights.
So yeah, if you make another one, I'm watching it!
