A Perfect Trip Down Memory Lane
Short and Sweet: great game!!!!!! loved every moment of it, no major complaints if you like humor and adventure go buy this game its great the jokes are even better with voice acting and the graphics are sweet and add a lot to the game.
Game Length: about 5-6 hours, 1.5-3 if you rush through and skip all of the dialogue

My History with Monkey Island:
Monkey Island is very very dear to me and I have loved all the games when they came out. I discovered Monkey Island by playing Monkey Island 2 first and then playing 3, and then going back to the first one I loved all of them and they are one of the first games I played. I even enjoyed the fourth one although I will admit it was a disappointment compared to the greatness of the third one which is my favorite by far. Anyway it’s safe to say I am a total fanboy of this series and I love that it has come back finally!!!!
Background for new people:
If you missed any of the Monkey Island games and never played them well now it’s time to start!!! This is the first one and will get you addicted so you can go and play the other ones. One of the great thing about point and clicks is that it’s pretty casual story-driven experience its unique stuff that has gone out of favor in recent years and I for one would recommend people get this game. I would also recommend this game for family’s and stuff because my younger niece comes over and can kind get into the story and laugh at the jokes.
Additions for Veteran players:
The Main addition that returning players will notice is the voice acting. In my opinion it has made the game far more enjoyable this time around and really made the game come alive to me the voice-work is excellent stuff and really good in my option it has added a lot to the game. In addition to the voice work they have re-done the graphics and touched up a couple of things its pretty good stuff and adds a lot to the game.
Overall:
Great game worth every penny of the $10 I spent and I really cant complain about anything with the game without feeling like I am nit-picking I hope many people buy this game as possible so that they release the rest of the Monkey Island series
