Toy Soldiers Debut Trailer

I'd rather they came out with more Army Men games, but otherwise this looks semi-interesting & I can see myself buying it.  I typically buy quite a few downloadable arcades on XBL nowadays.

The concept is fine and the gameplay doesn't look bad but the the graphics and art don't do this any favors. If they're going for mindless fun they should've gone with a mindless look.

I heard it was a "tower defense" game but with some added elements.  I was on the fence about yet another TD game, but this has some first person game play which may raise it about the general sameness of previous TD games.  I'll play the demo and see if it is worth any more of my time.  Right now, it looks promising, though.

Is it weird that the thing that jumps out at me immediately is that there's no such thing as army men with separate clothing and skin colours?

I will only buy this if I can do what I did with my own army men, which is to drop my Tyrannosaurus in the middle and let it eat everyone.

RTS games aren't tower defence..  If anything it reminded me more of Battlefront.  Trying to strategically place everything, but you're able to manually control each unit as well.  Looks like a lot of fun. "

Looks good, although you didn't see much of the RTS side. I did like the old Army Men immensely.

The army men don't have the solid bottom. Boo!!!

Don't like the trailer, I have a bad feeling about the game.

Well...they could...no...maybe the game...no that wouldn't work...it could always...hmmm...no. 

 This looks pretty damn cool.  Have no idea how it's gonna play, but if it is any good and has a decent multiplayer component, I might have to look out for this one. 
Art style looks great and great music on the trailer.

Contrary to some comments I think that looks fuckin cool. All those different weapons and vehicles and stuff? Depending on how you get in between em, what you control etc., looks like it has serious promise, although "poised to be a smash hit" is questionable.

I'd like to see more of this in the future, I miss playing with my army men.
