Do you guys think it will be any good? From the very little I saw at E3 it looked pretty good; the graphics looked good, and if they can nail the controls, this could be a great game.

The Nintendo Wii is a home video game console released on November 19, 2006. The Wii's main selling point was the innovative use of motion controls that its signature Wii Remote and Nunchuk controllers allowed for. It became the best selling home console of its respective generation of hardware.
CoD: WaW for Wii?
If they do the controls right it could be good but I'm expecting the game to be crap on every platform
This is actually going to be a day 1 purchase for me. I enjoyed Call of Duty 3 for the Wii. It was the game that actually got me interested in shooters on consoles. I had tried many of the traditional FPS's on things like the Xbox and the PS2, but really did not find the control schemes to my liking. Having the pointer functionality really make these types of games enjoyable for me. I've bought and played nearly every FPS that has come out for the Wii since and they're only getting better. Treyarch has had 2 years now to work on this title and it's looking to be pretty good so far.
The only thing I'm a little skeptical about is the multiplayer co-op. From the video during E3 is appeared that one player was controlling the movement on screen and they simply added a 2nd reticule for the other player. I'm really hoping they have some split screen or even on-line co-op for the Wii version.
Medal of Honor: Heroes 2 was a really good offering for the Wii and showed that it was capable of doing many of the things that the other consoles were doing like 32 player online that was fairly good at doing what is was supposed to. I've not had much trouble at all with the online functions in that game.
COD has traditionally had a better story component, and better gameplay in my opinion and MOH was one of my favorite games so far for the Wii. I enjoyed COD4 on the PC and I have high hopes for World at War on the Wii.
"It looks good, people only hate on it because it's wii."Yeah, that is how I feel with a lot of games for Wii, I don't know about you but I prefer Wii first person controls compared to Xbox 360 or PS3
I'm cautious. After reading all the great reviews about MoHH2 I went out and bought it and have been severely disappointed with it. The MoHH2 controls worked very well, but I think that the game itself was just boring even though I've loved MoH games in the past (I think it might've have something to do with the game being "wii'd" down). So I'm going to wait until I see if CoD: WaW is much different game-play wise before I go out and buy it.
smiley - I think you're right about Heroes; it showed that a FPS could work well on the Wii, but I guess my opinion is that Heroes itself, as a game, just wasn't very good which has nothing to do with the Wii.
If it can join any server, connecting to PC and such as well, that'd be really cool. But if not...I guess we'll just see then.
