Yasogami High School

Overview

Yasogami High School is the main school where the main characters of Persona 4 attend. The school consists of the Classrooms and the Practice Building. The Classroom buildings contain first-year students on the first floor, second-year students on the second, and third-year students (seniors) on the third. Practice Building only has two floors, with each housing many of Yasogami's extracurricular activities. The school also contains a rooftop.

Classroom Building - 1st Floor

The students' lockers are at the entrance. Here, the player can check his/her locker to get some items from an unknown person ocassionally. The left hallway contains the first-year classrooms; Class 1-1, Class 1-2, and Class 1-3. There are three paths at the end of this hallway. The door on the left leads to the 1st floor of the Practice Building, the door straight ahead leads to the gym or field, and the one on the right is a staircase leading to the second floor of the Classroom Building. The right hallway consists of the Nurse's Office, Faculty Office, and the Guidance Counselor's Office opposite of it. The player can enter the Faculty Office to talk to Mr. Morooka on certain days to inquire about joining clubs.

Classroom Building - 2nd Floor

Second floor is where most of Persona 4's main characters and Social Links hang out. The middle staircases lead down to the 1st floor, or up the 3rd floor. The Library is located at the left corridor, where the main character can study to increase his knowledge attribute, as well as to spend time with Social Links. The room right across it is the Student Council Room, and the Calligraphy Room is right next to it. To the right are the second-year classrooms. Class 2-1 is Kou Ichijo's, Class 2-2 is where the main character, Yosuke Hanamura, Chie Satonaka, and Yukiko Amagi attend to their studies. The player can also save in this class. Class 2-3 is where Daisuke Nagase and Yumi Ozawa attend. There are two paths at the end of this hallway; left side leads to the second floor of the Practice Building, while the staircases to the right lead to the 1st and 3rd floors of the Classroom Building.

Classroom Building - 3rd Floor

This floor is where the Funky Student can be found. The left corridor consists of the A / V (Audio / Visual) Room, while the Computer Lab is right across from it. Announcement Room is right next to the Computer Lab. Like the second floor, classrooms of the third-year students are located on the right corridor; Class 3-1, 3-2, and 3-3. The end of the hallway consists of a lone staircase that leads right back down to the 2nd floor of the Classroom Building. The staircase in the middle of the 3rd floor also lead to the rooftop.

Practice Building - 1st Floor

The left hallway consists of the Home Economics Room, Sewing Room, Storage Room, and Music Room, where Ayane Matsunaga can be found practicing in here (if the player joins the Music Club). Kanji Tatsumi can be found hanging out near the Sewing Room on some days. To the right, you can find the Science Laboratory, and the Meeting Room at the end of the hall. Yumi Ozawa can be found rehearsing in here, should the player join the Drama Club. Both staircases on the ends of both hallways lead to the 2nd floor of the Practice Building.

Practice Building - 2nd Floor

The Workshop and English Classroom are across from each other on the left side of the corridor, and the Sociology Classroom at the end of it. The right side corridor has the Art Room and the Biology Lab. Both staircases at the end lead down to the 1st floor of the Practice Building.

School Rooftop

Chie Satonaka can be found hanging out here in some days. The player can also check the weather forecast by talking to the Weather fanatic on the left side of the rooftop. There are also two people the player can talk to to fulfill certain requests.

Soccer Field

The Yasogami High Soccer Team gathers here to practice during non-rainy Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. Physical Ed Classes are held here as well.

* Note that joining either of these clubs will establish the Strength Social Link. Eventually, the player will encounter Ai Ebihara as the manager for both teams.

• Kanji Tatsumi: First year student. Found standing right next to the Sewing Room on the 1st floor Practice Building. Social Link accessible on Wednesday and Thursday, non-rainy days.
• Rise Kujikawa: First year student. Located on the left side of the corridor on the 1st floor Classroom Building. Social Link available on Fridays and Saturdays, non-rainy days.
• Naoto Shirogane: First year student. Found near Nurse's Office on the 1st floor Clasroom Building. Social Link available on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday, rainy or non-rainy days.
• Daisuke Nagase: Second year student, Class 2-3. Soccer Team. Can be standing with Kou near Class 2-1. Social Link accessible on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. Practice is cancelled on rainy days.
• Kou Ichijo: Second year student, Class 2-1. Basketball Team. Located right next to Daisuke on the 2nd floor Classroom Building corridor. Social Link accessible on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. Practice cancelled on rainy days.
• Yumi Ozawa: Second year student, Class 2-3. Drama Club. Found in the middle of the 2nd floor Classroom Building corridor. Social Link available on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday, rainy or non-rainy days.
• Ayane Matsunaga: First year student. Music Club. Found near the staircase of the 2nd floor Classroom Building corridor. Social Link available on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday, rainy or non-rainy days.
• Ai Ebihara: Second year student. Sports team manager. Located near the lockers on the 1st floor Classroom Building. Social Link is available every Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.

• Funky Student: (Possibly) Third year student. Found on the 3rd floor of the Practice Building. Player can solve two of his riddles.

• Kinshiro Morooka: Class 2-2 initial homeroom teacher. Also a Philosophy teacher.
• Kimiko Sofue: World History proctor. Found near the 2nd floor Classroom Building staircase. Player can accept two of her requests.
• Noriko Kashiwagi: Class 2-2 replacement homeroom teacher, as well as the Biology teacher.
• Mr. Kondo: English and P.E. teacher. He is also the coach for either the Soccer or Basketball teams.
• Mr. Hosoi: Teacher for Classic Literature. Always has a miniature puppet of himself with him at all times.
• Mrs. Nakayama: Math teacher. Located at the 3rd floor of the Classroom Building. Player can accept two of her requests.
• Mr. Yamada: World Geography Teacher.
• Principal: Usually located in the 3rd floor of the Classroom Building. Player can accept a request from him.
