Hello and welcome to the latest edition of the Giant Bomb Community Spotlight and I, @zombiepie, am once again honored to be your host this week. With the end of summer looming right around the corner, the Giant Bomb community made the most of the week despite the scorching weather. With EVO 2018 and the Giant ROM 5 officially behind us, there were plenty of awesome acts of community creativity to marvel over. So, without further ado, let's jump into the latest edition of the Giant Bomb Community Spotlight!
- Many thanks to @zandravandra for hosting the Giant ROM 5 game Jam event. The game jam was a smashing success and generated more games than ever before.
- Speaking of users who deserve hearty thanks, TurboMan's Best of Giant Bomb video feature just aired its 150th episode!
- Variety recently published an article on Giant Bomb's evolution over the past ten years. The article includes interviews with Jeff, Vinny, Patrick, and Drew. Give it a read if you want a nostalgic trip down memory lane.

Giant Bomb's annual game jam may be over, but remember to check out the Giant ROM 5 itch.io page and play the games created during the event. Many of the creators are looking for feedback from the community, and don't forget to review the games you play! If you are still not convinced these games are worth your time, here's a taste of some of the creations.

- @riostarwind's Grim Fandango Remastered review marvels at the game's timelessness while questioning some of its design choices.
- @moonlightmoth shares their conflicting impressions of Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor Martyr in their review. Read why the game did not resonate with them.
- @moonlightmoth also articulates why The Banner Saga 3 is exactly what it should be, but lacking anything to entice potential new fans.
- @count_zero's Pillars of Eternity review is largely positive, though they do declare Durance "the worst." Give it a read even if you disagree with that last statement.
