The Community Spotlight - 12/09/2017

Hello and welcome to the latest edition of the Community Spotlight and I, @zombiepie, am honored to be your host. With the last handful of weeks of 2017 looming right around the corner, Game of the Year is in full swing. The staff have completed their share of podcasts and video promos for Game of the Year, and remember this content is accessible to all users, and not just premium. Also, be aware this is the time of the year where things start to wind down until the dawn of the next year. So, without further ado, let's jump into the community-based housekeeping!

@bonafideginger: Yeah, the staff already implied and even started partially during UPF that they're having those ready to go for christmas time. Other than that there will be lots of podcasts, too.

Mario Odyssey question inspired by Marino’s video: how can you collect so many moons without depositing some to go to another kingdom? Do you have to use the portrait fast travel system? As far as I know, you can’t go from one world to another without first depositing all collected moons.

@marino That sure is a piece.

I got the Eiffel 65 album for Christmas '99. Some of it is surprisingly good. Some of it is unsurprisingly... not.

@asmo917: You can buy as many moons as you want past a certain point and there's a character in the area where the moons are deposited in that video who will give you moons for "achievements" so it's the best place to rack up a lot in one go.

I should probably get on that GotY kick, huh?

@asmo917: you use the paintings to collect from multiple worlds before depositing
