Games I played in 2019, whether they were released in 2019 or not. Some of them I've been playing pretty consistently since they came out.
In 2019, I bought a used PS4 off a friend and also finally built a gaming-capable computer that could run all the games I couldn't handle before. As a result, there's a lot more variety in my platforms now.
I love No More Heroes, but this game was GARBAGE. I wish I could get back the time I wasted my life playing Travis Strikes Again

Tried KOF for the first time this year after Terry was announced in Smash. Heard many things about KOF for many years, but never actually played the games. Bought several of them cheaply on Switch. Not bad. Got KOF 2000, 2001 on Switch and 98, 2002, and XIII on Steam.

Interesting Gundam Game
Finally got around to this on PS4 in late 2019. Finished it the morning of Dec 7. It was definitely an epic experience... Just not one I'd probably ever play again.
Played the first game years ago. Finally getting around to the sequel.
I don't know how you publish a commercial racing game with terrible driving controls, but Nintendo did it.

Computer is finally gaming ready so I could actually play this. It's the first Monster Hunter that isn't total garbage to play and is actually quite fun.
Played this once. Not great. It's like a Fighting Game made by people who seemed to not get why Fighting Games are great... Which is underwhelming when you compare it to the magical insanity Final Fantasy is known for.

Not a sports game person, but it was Raptors win season and the game was not even $5 on the eShop... So what else did I have to lose... Played it once.

Cool concept, but handled by a terribly unskilled developer and buggy as hell. Barely qualifies as a fighting game and it lacks features to keep one fun aspect, jumping from debris to debris, interesting. Wasted opportunity.

I liked the aesthetics of this game... But it didn't hold my interest for very long.
Been playing since launch... But it's starting to lose me. It's the only form of Yu-Gi-Oh! worth playing ever since the Link mechanic messed up the IRL card game.
Inspired by my friend liking this at a con last year (though I had never played this), I bought the drum controllers too. Lots of fun.
