Aside from the somewhat unnecessary enemy encounters which just lead to a hide-and-seek scenario this was a great experience.
The discussion of consciousness is interesting and the way it plays with the narrative, especially how Simon "evolves" really worked for me.
Not a huge fan, story could have been interesting but I felt like it leans too much into the "I can relate to this" scenario. The MMO mini-game took too long which just made everything feel too slow.
Good fun, shame the end is a bit too long.
It's fun, not the biggest proponent of rogue-lites but the action in this still makes me want to come back to it.
It's alright, got halfway through though and I don't know if I can be bothered. There's that 90's 32-bit platformer charm there, but that's just not enough.
There's something so simplistic yet super fun about this game. I had only played the second one but felt like going back to the original this time round.
The voice acting is also noteworthy, it's so bad.
Got halfway through and the savestate fucked up, losing a few hours of gameplay, so in the end I got a bit more than halfway through but had to give up.
Still loads of fun though
It's a shame the last episode was so disappointing.
It looks cool (if you're into early 2000 looking games).
Just played the first two missions.
The ending and mental "breakdown" felt a bit unconvincing, that said the rest of the game was fairly enjoyable.
Aside from the motion sickness and frustration The Witness is turning out to be better than what I would have ever expected.
It's still so good.
