Great episode! Lucy and Tamoor were great and I instantly followed the Gamespot: After Dark podcast.

Stadia stream doesn't even get a mention ... sounds about right.

I will never understand those who spend hundreds of hours over multiple years on one game like Overwatch. How do you keep up on new releases? My backlog is huge as it is...

@finaldasa: That's not true, I never get ads in the podcast unless I watch live. They edit them out before the show goes to premium.

Holy cannoli, the British guy just keeps talking and talking and talking. And none of his anecdotes or observations are interesting, which just makes it worse.

I found Tamoor's comments about the US still being a society based mainly on cash a little weird. As someone living in the Midwest (Ohio) for the past 13 years, I can only think of 1 time in the past year when I needed to use cash for something. I previously had to use cash for a locally owned ma' and pa' ice cream stand, however even they started accepting credit/debit cards a few month ago. Other than that specific case, I almost never need to use cash.

Maybe California is different? I always thought new tech started in California and moved east (Silicon Valley, etc.)

I was just thinking like the day before this podcast went up about how I hadn't seen/heard the "jimmies rustled" meme in long time. And then it comes up here.

Who the hell would leave the parking lot after you've paid but before you've received your food? That's wasting money and time, because you still have to go get food somewhere. Related to that, though, there's been a rather severe uptick in the amount of times I've been asked to pullover to wait for food in the past year or so.

Is there a certain part of England where people really strongly pronounce K sounds? I’ve noticed it on a few people from England but I don’t know if they’re all from one spot or if it’s just a random speech pattern.

The guests seem like really nice people, but they kind of overtook the whole episode and Brad didn't really seem like he was there. I'm all for guests, but they overpowered the main two left from GB. Rorie shoulda come in for this one too.

Please nerf guests in next patch. Rorie has really gone overlooked in the current meta. Not sure if I'll watch anymore until you start listening to the fanbase and fix with update!

Is Death Stranding still expected to be a small game? I remember when he left Konami the expectation was that he was going to work on something small. And when Death Stranding was announced it was still expected to be a short game. This game is full price though. Is it a AAA game you'll spend 50+ hours in?

Granted, I have not followed Death Stranding closely, however I always thought that, with Sony's support/money behind him, Kojima would make this a big, AAA game.

@fishriot: Giantbomb has been doing that for almost every game they cover for about a decade. It has been part of their shtick to be uninformed about games in general. Especially when games are brought up during the email portion.

I like how they get weird about people making comments about their neck on videos. But 5 minutes later proceed to comment on David Boreanaz's forehead. Ok guys.

@coryukin: They're point was about not wanting to read comments about themselves, not that the comments shouldn't exist. It reminds me of some advice Austin often recounts getting from Vinny early into joining Giant Bomb: it's fine for people to have forums and comment sections to talk about Giant Bomb staff like they would any traditionally-accepted celebrity but there's no need for the Giant Bomb staff to seek those coversations out (just like how David Boreanaz should never have to hear about what they said about his appearance).

The second episode this month with a set of guests who steamroll the entire show. Never want to hear from any of these people again.

"We're just under a month until that date [renewing Nintendo Switch Online] rolls up on us, so I guess that's still time to announce Super Nintendo games. That could be a Direct. That could be an email goes out Monday morning like, hey we're having a direct on Wednesday, and Wednesday comes around and here's Super NIntendo."

(I picked the right night to be catching up on Bombcasts)

One of the better shows lately. They got quite deep into game discussion, which doesn't happen all too often. And hey, i'm sure that every overwatch player feels like their fav hero has an incredible rough time against some other characters (or need to play on a way higher level compared to the opponent to come out ahead) while others look at it from a different character perspective and don't see the problem. Or they focus on the pro circuit vs what's happening at the lower skill levels. That doesn't mean that his experience is WRONG. It's just different from the one you're coming at it from.
