Doesn't really surprise me. There hasn't been any marketing for this game far as I can tell, which would be kind of strange since Obsidian seems to really be banking on this being a strong seller, and for that you need marketing. So yea, haven't seen anything pushing Alpha Protocol as of late, so a (significant) delay wouldn't surprise me.

I might of picked this up but spending more time on a game is always a good thing, I mean was anybody THAT impressed with the E3 stuff?

This continued spillover of games into 2010 is saving my bacon between now and Christmas really.  Also, is it just me or are there an absolute ton of fantastic games coming out in the next six months?  I'm not sure I remember it being this hectic for a while.

Hey, I dig the box art. The hero looks so... familiar.

When I see a release date pushed back so significantly so close to a set release date, that says to me that the game was going to be absolute garbage and the developer took a look at their "finished" product and go, "Wow this sucks ass, better take another 6 months and revamp the whole thing." Whatever, Modern Warfare 2.

BAWWWWWWW  one of the only upcoming games i was actually looking forward to, besides DJ Hero and Uncharted 2.  i am going to curl up into the fetal position and cry now

I would be kinda okay if they moved it to January or something. But June is just way too long. And i've been looking forward to this game for quite some time...

Good news then. Besides the gameplay I wasn't too impressed with it.

This sucks was looking forward to playing that all through OCtober. Guess I'll just have to get a job.

i'll only except this news on the basis that they're changing the boxart to Vinny...and the main character.
 
Kinda tired of all these pushbacks...but as long as Borderlands is here, im happy.

This sucks. I was looking forward to this game, now all the games i want to play are not coming out until November. Sigh the gaming drought continues.

Man they would sell shit tons if it that cover art. I really hope it doesn't get delayed. June of next year? That's just bullshit.

If they make that artwork the official cover, the game can be delayed until 2012 for all I care.

Now I want to punch something. Brutal Legend better be good to fill that void!

This game looks like it could be good, so I'm glad they're delaying it to do whatever they feel is best for it.

Boxart is awesome.

Hope we can get some confirmation on at least a new release window, if not a date. I've never been particularly drawn to Alpha Protocol, but if the game turns out decent, it would sure be on my radar.

Noooo! I joked about this to Matt Rorie's face and he seemed very certain it would come out this year. Disappointing, this was going to fill the Mass Effect 2 craving.

The game looked cool. If this is true, it fucking bullshit: only a week's notice for the delay, and it hasn't even been announced yet? Not cool, Sega/Obsidian. If the game isn't done and this is to make it a quality product, then they shouldn't have announced it so effing early.

I forgot it was coming so... push it SEGA. The first new IP from Obsidian shouldn't be a financial failure! This would have done much better in august or something, but May-June territory is fine

It seems like I'm the only one who thinks this game looks really cool.

Saw it coming in the leaked Sega conference call minutes where they also outed DC games on PS3. What was the note from the conference, again? " Mass Effect felt more RPG?"
 
I thought that was a good thing because ME wasn't great as an action game. Devs of both genres are still trying to find the right balance of elements and the feel of these new hybrids.

Still looking forward to this one.

This is a shame but there are so many other games coming out soon, I can wait for Alpha Protocol. Still looking forward to it though.

I decided to check up on my pre orders in case anything else was delayed and sure enough Assassin's Creed 2 (PC) won't be out for another 5 or 6 months. Great.
