I'll be attempting to watch the stream whilst playing Halo 2 myself. Just a heads up: You get some special shiny in Halo Reach if you play Halo 2 tomorrow.

That said, I've been stoked about this livestream since I heard they were doing it. I'll probably catch most of it live, but I hope the guys keep up the practice of releasing high quality versions here on the site.

Man I remember doing that warthog jump stuff with a few friends after we saw the video.  From what I recall we were able to get the warthog to fly so far away that we couldn't find it after it landed.  Damn, I wish I recorded it.
 
Either way, I trying to track down a copy of Halo 2 so I could play it for one last time tomorrow.(Without actually paying for a copy of course)  I think Halo 2 was the first online multiplayer game I've ever played. (My family didn't get internet in our house until about late 2003)  It's kind of sad to think about not being able to play the online multiplayer anymore after tomorrow, but in the end it is what must be done.

 I had some fond memories with this game. Mostly in campaignia, which isn't affected. But I remember seeing a buddy play this game online and being pretty blown away by the matchmaking system.

i never understood what all the fuzz was about with halo. allway though it was a really bad and ugly game. got tired of the single player 2 lvls in and stopped playing it ½ way thougn.
but i cant deny that this game was huge and that and loved.

Wait, wait. I thought it ended on the 15th. Like... at 11:59 PM on April 15th. THIS MEANS I HAVE ONE LESS DAY THAN I THOUGHT! OH MY GOD! The next 24 hours will be dedicated to remembering Halo 2. This means I must stay away from Giantbomb for a day, and do my service as a Halo 2 fan.

Just letting you guys know that MechAssault 1 doesn't work on the 360 if you'll be using that instead of bringing in an original Xbox.  Might be like that with some other games you want to try, as well.

It's sad kinda. Halo 2 introduced me to online gaming.
