You Say Goodbye, I Say Halo

I am 100% willing to only get 2 hours of sleep in favor of playing Halo 2.

I'm very much looking forward to this, though I'm going to miss it because I work the 3rd shift tonight.  I can only hope that you guys archive the video so that I can enjoy it later.  The xbox was a hell of a first entry from microsoft to the console market.  A lot of unique stuff came out for this system and it was able to easily keep up with some great cross-platform games as well.  I was never very good at Halo 2, but the amazing online capability of this system really kept me coming back.  Crimson Skies was pretty rad too.  I never played MechAssault but I liked the mechwarrior games on the PC.  Good luck with the live stream guys.

Im def gonna get some Halo 2 in now, i used to play the crap out of it on my old Xbox and old tag (which i was dumb enough to not transfer over)

I normally go to bed around 5:00am, I'll be able to stay up until 6:00am to watch the stream. Besides I'll be playing Halo 2 all night myself.

Too bad I won't be able to watch this in the UK. 

But I've been having a few Halo 2 matches for the finale and I remembered why I hated it so much, it suffers from exactly the same problem as Halo 3.  The Battle Rifle.
Any match where it's not the default weapon is so much more fun, the damn thing is so unbalanced and the matches involve nothing but two people running at each other firing, followed by a melee attack.
 
Really can't wait for Reach where we won't have any of that.

I get that they want to capture right up until the service ends but God damn that sucks for anyone in the east of the world. I hope this is recorded and posted later although I know it's best experienced live just the MxO.

That video took me back to being 13 and doing that for several hours straight with a friend. Still one of my favourite times with a game.
 
My heart was broken when I realised they redid the physics in Halo 2. :(

There are a lot better Warthog jump videos with better editing and WAAAAY better use of soundeffects/music. That was just annoying.
