    Best Sex Ever!!!

Can't wait for the HD version of this trailer to hit the scene. The graphics, THE SOUND, the destruction! The fucking gameplay! Seriously - DICE will keep word and blow everything, including Modern Warfare 2, out of the water.

Seriously. Can anyone deny this anymore? I dare you!

I guess I'm like a holocaust denier then.

It looks absolutely awesome..from videos... I never played through BFBC  because I just did not like the demo..and I dl it 3 times (once when it came out on both consoles..and at a later date when I had nothing to play) I just didnt like the way it  controlled and driving vehicles seemed weird..
It's one of those games thats always there in the back of my mind as something I should get seeing as its so cheap but I always tend to choose something else over it. There is obviously no denying how brilliant it looks visually but MW2 really does look like a much more fun game.

Granted BF:BC 1 took some time getting used to. But once you've learned the controls, it works almost perfectly. BF:BC 2 will improve everything. It's the first time, DICE got their hands free for some serious polish, since BF:BC was the first game based on their new proprietary technology, the Frostbite Engine. Since then, they've come a long way to master their engine and it shows. Definitly one of the stongest engines out there. It might be the most powerful engine to date, when it comes to online gaming. BF:BC 2 will be the first time, that Frostbite will be put to work for real. Given how much I love the first game's online multiplayer (Goldrush mode), BF:BC 2 will be nothing short of gaming Ambrosia. Food for the gods.

I'm really looking forward to seeing more of the singleplayer campaign too. Multiplayer's gonna be gold for certain. Not so sure yet about the singleplayer. The first game's singleplaer campaign was solid fun, but not amazing. I really hope, that BF:BC 2 will knock singleplayer out of the park too, so that everybody gets to love the Battlefield franchise, the way I do. Sooo much! That's how much!

The most interesting and promising thing about this iteration of BF happens at 0:30.  I hate wasting half my clip (as assault, for example) to kill one guy in BF:BC.  My online skill level is 2 (best you can hope for), so I'm not complaining just because I suck.  It's a bit ridiculous when I have to dump 3 bullets into a guy with a QBU or an SVU before he drops dead...I hope BF:BC 2 is more economical with its bullets.

And I don't see the point in comparing this to Call of Duty.  I don't see the appeal of the Call of Duty games--I only played the demos--and I don't expect the fans of Call of Duty to find this interesting.

Then again, it's nice to survive a badly executed attack, turn around and fight back with a chance of winning. I hope, that the soldiers remain similarly resilient as in BF:BC. Probably tone it down a little. Like 20-30% less resilient per default. Plus - I hope that there will be a 'Bodyarmor Specialisation' (specialisations are BF:BC 2s perks), that can make a soldier as resilient as in the first BF:BC.

Generally - I agree. A little less resilient soldiers on the Battlefield are welcome.

I'm so psyched for this game, the I just bought the first one a week or so ago and have been really enjoying the hell out of it. I have to say it is the first FPS that sucked me into it's multiplayer. When I play it, I just keep thinking to myself "now this is what a current gen shooter was meant to be".

The first couple of youtube links gone dead. Found a new working link and added it back up. The video should have gone online today, but in the evening, not in the morning. Some site broke the embargo. Anyways - here it is again!

I hope, there will be some true 720p HD files up and running sometime this evening. As soon as the embargo drops for real. Can't wait to see it again in all its glory! Hopefully the GB crew makes an official posting. This trailer is definitly worth it.

Just hook up with some folks on the EA Battlefield forums. The forum player games can be quite amazing. It's crazy, what some of these players can do. As soon as you squad up with good players and sit in a party chat, the game plays very much like that. I mostly run PUG - even so, it only takes squadmates, with some will to survive, the focus to win and the decency to spawn on the squad for the game to be as involving and dynamic as what you see in this gameplay trailer. It's not that hard to come by. When I play Bad Company Goldrush, I usually get a few good games offering an experience close to what this trailer shows.

I loved battlefield 2 but since then, they messed it up pretty bad.  Battlefield 1943 was a pretty good game though.  Bad Company is just a sad attempt to try put in some piece of shit story together and characters that are gay.  No, this game has no attention on  my part.

Bullshit. Sex is all about angles, timing and a gameplan. Just like all competitive games. Also, games do have a biochemical effect on us players, just like sports or sex. Whatever man - gaming, sports and sex. It's nice to do it all.

Really. That looked completely identical to BC1, just like the other trailers they did called squad stories of whatever, it looks entirely like BC1 and doesnt make itself look different whatsoever. Also, really? They must not be all that confident about the game themselves..the only thing that showed that game was different that BC1 was all the F bombs. Its rather ashame they have to rely on that at this point. This definitely isnt the Battlefield anyone knew. Unless BF 3 comes out in the next few years and actually blows me away, Im guessing DICE has lost its stuff entirely at this point.

Holy shit! That was crazy, they really have improved the look of the game over the first one. Man so excited for this, and i\ hate to say it but that looks about twice as good graphically than MW2 and considering I liked the gameplay in BF:BC more than MW1 this looks like it will be my FPS of choice in 2010.

And sex is more than about gameplan and angle. It something that it comes to you naturally, and that it feels right, depending on the ocasion.

@WitchHunter_Z: Hmmm. First multiplayer game with 100% interactive environments? Generic? Doesn't go together at all. Also, there aren't many shooters out there with spot-on and fun vehicles, such as tanks, choppers, jeeps, boats, jet-skis, ATVs and so forth.

All I'm saying is, this game's multiplayer will offer some 'better-than-sex' climaxes. Of course, this is just a colorful superlative. I guess you can't relate. Recreational sex is a fact. Just like gaming is a mostly recreational activity.

It's like - some fine day, gaming might be an experience, so intense, so real, that the virtual experience is just as good or better than the equivalent in physical space. Just as in the movie 'The Matrix'. Personally, I wouldn't mind engaging in sexual activities in 'The Matrix'. My sexy avatar would get it on frequently. Recreational Cyber-Ninja sex. Virtual sex could one day be like Superman VS Wonderwoman. A powerful experience indeed.

Also, since when isn't sex competitive? As far as I'm concerned, I get the best sex, if I do her right first. It's body and mind vs body and mind. Once you bust that cherry open and all the pretense breaks away (it's a struggle to get that shit out of the way), sex will be natural, animalistic and awesome. But getting there is definitly a competitive struggle. Get your/her/his freak on!

But then again, this might just be me. It might be a whole different story for you. Everybody's in his own story afterall.

true... but for me i try it always to be natural, as i don't feel like a competition. I try for her to enjoy as much as i do, nothing else. :)

Well, loneliness is a matter of the heart.  The mind stands in the way of the heart, which is the cause of all loneliness. As for the Matrix, or the Internet, it's a tool to connect with people. It should make hooking up easier. Loneliness isn't a natural law of virtual space. It's a personality flaw.

Just like I said, I believe sex to be competitve, because I got to overcome the others and my mind. It's a fight against windmills, but every now and then, I succeed. The result being, that I truely am intimate with another human being. It's how I describe the way of getting to that 'natural' place, as you call it. To me, it's a struggle. A fight against everything, that stands between me and getting some(thing real).

@Seppli: The only thing the first game did that was original was destructible buildings, and even that was done first by Red Faction. Yes, it's a nice touch but at the end of the day it was still just a gimmick, a gimmick that in the sequel will have lost it's charm. As for vehicles, it's not a shooter nowaday without some tacked on vechicle based combat, so thats really not differentiating itself from the crowd; it might be wiser to omitt them and proclaim on the box "No tedius, imbalanced vechicle sections for you to tear your hair out at. Enjoy 100% focused shooting mechanics!"

That all said, I am very bored by shooters recently, and this does not look to change my mind in the slightest. Bring on Borderlands.

This looks awesome but comparing it to COD:MW2 is laughable. I'll admit that Battlefield has it's quirks that make some of the games fun to dive into every now and then, but the awkwardness of the controls and gameplay make the barrier for entry too great for it to ever steal a significant number of people from COD.

I've always wanted to try the first one but, never got to it.  I think I might pick this one up though.

That almost looks like one of those pre-rendered promo videos except done in a much less transparent way. I'll have to watch it a few more times.

If that IS actual real-time game gameplay, then I don't know what to say. I didn't think I could get any more excited for a Battlefield game than I am for BC2.

The destruction in Battlefield is anything but a gimmick. It keeps you thinking on your toes as camping is rarely ever an option.

I want to see what they're going to do with the single player component of the game before I get excited for this game.

It does look nice. And judging my the language this looks like an M game. Now let's see some blood!

The game seemed to play itself.  The player only shot the gun a few times, and this is a shooting game.  I don't want a bunch of AI morons stealing all my fun.

" Right, whatever.  Wake me up when Battlefield 3 is announced, or at least a Battlefield game that allows for more than 32 players... or whatever the hell BC2 is touting as its player limit these days. "

Try again dude. BC2 is coming out on PC and will likely have up to 48 players. BF3 still is a long way off... Holiday 2011 at absolute earliest.

@TheGremp: The singleplayer felt like an excuse to make the game $60. The real experience is in the multiplayer -- like what the video is demonstrating.

I wish they would release this game for $40 and make it all multiplayer.

Looks nice. Like how it is (as with MW2) a lot more bright/has a higher gamma, really makes it look better. Looking forward to this, but don't think it will 'blow MW2 out of the water' hopefully it will sell alot, but probably not as much. Don't like what Dice is doing with redoing things from there older games as if they are new (defribilator). Why wasn't it in the first BC? And the player limit should go up.
