besides the alien blaster, because nothing really beats that, what is your favorite weapon in fallout 3? mine is probably Lincoln's Repeater.

I'm only level 10, and while not necessarily my fav,  the combat shotty sure is reliable for quick chunkifying of mutants at mid to close range.  The fat boy nuke is always fun also, especially the cloud and it's effects,lol.  I imagine the weapons you make are sick..haven't done that yet.

The Gatling Laser.

Combat Shotgun to the face almost never seems to fail (right), but probably because I had never truly tested out the Gatling Gun.

Chinese Assault Rife. One you get it fully repaired it does some sweet ass damage. Plus it's one of the easier ammo supplies to find.

The chinese assault rifle has been a godsend from the first few hours of the game... Im not a fan of energy weapons.  I love me a souped up missle launcher.

either that or .32 caliber pistol, because there isn't anything as fun as filling a super mutant with a shitload of bullets from a weak little pistol. (BB's are too rare)

For a good majority of the game, it was the shotgun. Shotgun to the face was just so efficient and powerful close up. But then

towards the end of the game when you get those green ray blasting guns from The Enclave soldiers, I had a new favorite. Unfortunate that it was around the same time I decided to just tunnel run my way through the remaining story missions. Got a good 30 hours out of the game though.

Blackhawk is nice because it doesnt clutter up the screen w/ a giant graphic.  Working on getting Ol Painless and the unique SMG next then I will have all the unique small guns.

It depends on the bad guy and the situation... Overall, my Chinese Assault Riffle has been my go to for the majority of the game.  That said, close quarters combat, Terrible Shotgun. Something with some range and some punch, Lincolns Repeater. Yuo Guea (spelling, sorry) from 40 clicks away, a powered up Sniper rifle. Clear out a group of raiders in literally 2 seconds, Flamer.  I just like that each of the weapons really matter and can affect battle differently. I don't really llike the MiniGun all that much.  Doesnt seem as powerfull as it should.
