Delete: Cutscene In Which A Character Is Carrying A Different...

Strange concept....but I feel it could work if it just had a shorter name.....this is a concept that seems to pop up in a lot of video games.

Man, and I can totally think of like 5 games off the top of my head where this occurs.

Haha wow, that's ridiculous. I think that was directed at Mass Effect 2 where Shepard is almost always using an assault rifle in every cutscene, regardless of what weapons your character can use.

I think that it's a valid concept, however it needs a better name and some actual games listed.

Cutscene Weapon Swap?

It's a really tough concept to name concisely that's for sure.

Shouldn't something like that fall into an "In-Game Goofs" page or something like that? (If we have a page like that that is.)

I think this concept should stay, though yes, a rename of some sort might be needed. 
 
This happens a LOT in games. Certainly enough to warrant a page and have plenty of games attached to it.

i could see 'cutscene where character is carrying X different from in game' specifying a gun is a bit weird. 
 
even so, it's kinda clunky and unnessesery.

I like this concept. It annoyed me a bit in ME2 >.< 
 
The name could use a rework though. How about Discontinuity or Goofs ? Or maybe Cutscenes with Inaccurate Equipment if you wanna be more descriptive ? All of those will cover a much wider area, like your character wearing level 1 armor or using the same old sword during the cutscenes.

Discontinuity sounds good to me.

You could go all IMDB and just call it "Continuity Errors."

I added Tomb Raider: Anniversary because I just finished that game and it has whatever that wiki page suggests.

Dragon Age with the helmet, however, i REALLY like that feature. I didn't use the armour in ME2 cuz he had a helmet during cutscenes. But yes, this deserves a page

I actually kinda like this concept, but like others agree it needs a shorter name and change guns to weapons, I mean first thing that comes to mind for me is FF7 :P

Dude, I can think of so much instances where this happens with guns alone(MGS for instance).
 
I do agree that it needs a shorter name, and be about weapons in general.

Just because a lot of games fit the concept doesn't mean it shouldn't be a concept.....there are actually plenty of games that wouldn't fit this concept. "

I really don't think this page should be deleted. It should be renamed though, to cover not only guns, but equipment in general. "Inaccurate cutscene equipment", maybe?

keep it because it happens, and bothers me whenever it does (looks at Master Chief always carrying his damn AR in H3 when I NEVER use it...noob combo in some form ALWAYS on legendary, or BR/sniper, BR/shotty.

I like this one.  Like others have said, it just needs a better name and should be expanded to include things other than weapons.

Compared to all the other concepts as of late, this one's not that bad. 
The only thing I don't like about it is the name.
