Delete: Cutscene In Which A Character Is Carrying A Different...
Haha wow, that's ridiculous. I think that was directed at Mass Effect 2 where Shepard is almost always using an assault rifle in every cutscene, regardless of what weapons your character can use.
Delete Go.
I think that it's a valid concept, however it needs a better name and some actual games listed.
Brainstorm:
Cutscene Weapon Swap?
Shouldn't something like that fall into an "In-Game Goofs" page or something like that? (If we have a page like that that is.)
" @HaltIamReptar said:All RPGs ever. I was surprised when Crystal Chronicles for the GCN did NOT do that." This isn't exclusive to guns. "Well could you give some examples? "
I think this concept should stay, though yes, a rename of some sort might be needed.
This happens a LOT in games. Certainly enough to warrant a page and have plenty of games attached to it.
I like this concept. It annoyed me a bit in ME2 >.<
The name could use a rework though. How about Discontinuity or Goofs ? Or maybe Cutscenes with Inaccurate Equipment if you wanna be more descriptive ? All of those will cover a much wider area, like your character wearing level 1 armor or using the same old sword during the cutscenes.
Dragon Age with the helmet, however, i REALLY like that feature. I didn't use the armour in ME2 cuz he had a helmet during cutscenes. But yes, this deserves a page
" You could go all IMDB and just call it "Continuity Errors." "I don't see the purpose of creating a page that is going to have a vast majority of all video games ever on it.

Considering all games in the history of games, I doubt the majority of them even have a continuity to screw up. I realize cinematic games have been popular this past decade...

" @HaltIamReptar said:Plus, there's a page where you can enter information on how the concept pertains to each game. I think a lot of people forget about that." @GloomyTangent said:Just because a lot of games fit the concept doesn't mean it shouldn't be a concept.....there are actually plenty of games that wouldn't fit this concept. " This concept is retarded. Who would ever go to a gaming website looking for shit like this, unless they're completely wasted? What's the point of having all these stupid concepts that add nothing of value? "There are MUCH stupider concepts on this site...just look at some of the other topics and you will see...

" @Unknown_Pleasures said:Then name it just "discontinuity".....simple. "" @Ignor: I'm pretty sure it could be renamed "weapon discontinuity" "Why limit it to just weapons, then? "
The concept itself is valid, the title just needs renaming to something more clear and the description of the page's purpose just needs to be elaborated on some more.
Just because a concept doesn't make sense the first time doesn't mean it is somehow invalid. Like I said in another topic, a lot of deletion requests made lately need not be if the page(s) had more elaborate descriptions and information detailing the purpose of the page.
