Personally, I think I'm most excited for the release of Crysis 2, and Dead Space 2. I can name a few others but when it comes down to it those are the two I have a strong anticipation over. I would say God of War 3 as well, and while I'm not doubting it will be great, I'm just not as excited. There are some Metal Gear Solid games coming as well, but I know little, to nothing about them. So it lessens the excitement. There are so many games I am hoping to hear more about as well. An example would be, where is the Gears of War franchise heading? So! What are you MOST excited about? Just don't say FFXIII ha ha. Just kidding.
God of War III, Splinter Cell: Conviction, Dead Space 2 and Vanquish are the ones I'm most excited for, but I'm really looking forward to Alan Wake, Pokemon HeartGold and Persona 3 Portable as well.
Also Persona 5, DeathSpank, Diablo III, Portal 2, HL2: Episode 3, Gray Matter. I'm also excited to see what they are going to do with the next Zelda. There are probably more, but I'm drawing a blank.
Splinter Cell: Conviction , ModNation Racer, Pokemon HeartGold and Alpha Protocol are my most anticipated games coming out this year (that I can think of right now).
Also hoping for a Persona 5, a new SSX game and KotOR3.
Dead Rising 2 is my most anticipated game even though I fear it's going to be terrible and nothing like my beloved original. Splinter Cell: Conviction will be tiding me over until then as my #2 pick.

Might as well add Duke Nukem Forever to that list. :P I highly doubt Diablo 3 will even get a release date this year. Starcraft II only if we're lucky. And Valve likes to take their good-old time on the Episodes. Probably Portal 2 will come out on it's own and Ep 3 next year. Just my opinion.
Gran Turismo 5, FFXIII, and Civilization V are my big ones for this year. Hopefully GT5 doesn't get delayed forever.
Even though it's not announced officially, I'm really excited for the next Elder Scrolls game. Fallout's in the right hands, and now they can get back to their real work. And they said they're aiming for '10
Red Dead: Redemption, Alpha Protocol, maybe Splinter Cell: Conviction. Oh no... can't think of any more. But I bet that by the time it's holiday season there will be so many good games I won't know what to buy.
Just Cause 2 is my most immediate wait for, followed by Portal 2, hopefully that comes out by December (methinks so), APB as well. And yeah, the next Elder scrolls, although I doubt it will be this year, and kind of hope it isn't, because I want Bethesda to take their time with that little bundle of balls-to-the-wall-holy-fucking-shitasticness.
Alpha Protocol, Splinter Cell and Alan Wake also look very promising.. Interested to see what they do with the new Pokemon games as well, but that will only be Japan this year. Guild Wars 2 and Old Republic can be added if they get release dates, but I don't expect either this year.
