Had this idea for a little while and finally decided to work on it, not sure if this is in the right spot or deserving of its own post, apologies if not.

Thought everyone might get a kick out of this, as well as had the idea of getting it framed with a little name plaque at the bottom and mailing it to the crew. Though not sure how that would fly.

@truthtellah: Original images are old paintings of Russian generals by a George Dawe then just going thru images on the website here looking for decently lit headshots.

Idea isn't too original sadly since some dude does this with celebrities but I thought I would give it a shot myself.

You might want to put a layer of cream color or yellowish-gray over his head and multiply it to around 7-12%. Right now the face is sticking out too much from the rest of the portrait. Try to blend it into the tones of the actual painting. Otherwise, awesome.

That's pretty fucking cool which also gave me an idea that I just wanted to write down so hopefully someone steals it and makes something amazing. A reworked version of "The Emperor Napoleon in His Study at the Tuileries" but with Ryan would be kind of amazing.

I am going to make that a new civ in Civ V.

Ha, well since this went over so well I will work on getting a larger print done this week and see how it looks.
