The First Console And Game You Ever Owned

The first console I ever owned was the snes I got it when I was 5 back in 1995 I orignally got 2 games with it but the first game I played was The Magical Quest Starring Mickey Mouse the second was super Bonk

Like you, I got it in 1995 at the age of 5, but I had NES and Super Mario Bros.

I got a NES when I was about 4, SNES later on. The first system I bought with my own money was a GameBoy Colour when those first came out, later on I traded it straight up for a PSOne.

No idea what age, but my first was a Genesis, with Kid Chameleon. I had played the NES and SNES at friends' houses before that, though.

Well, technically the first game I owned was Alex Kidd in Miracle World, seeing as it was built into the console.

Mega Drive and Sonic the Hedgehog 2 :) What I'd give to go back to those times :(

That would be an NES.  The games I got with it were:

The Dreamcast, but I forget which game. I know I had a Sonic game though. Well, we didn't have it long before it went out of business and me and my brother got a PS2.

Except for the PC my dad had, the first console i got was a PS1 and the first game I played was Rollcage. Still one of my favourite games to this day, it's a great racer.

I guess it was around 1995 or 1996 I first got the Playstation. I had been playing over at a friends house on the NES before I got the PS. But I wasn't really into video games before I got MGS. Man, that game literally changed my life. If it hadn't been for MGS (and Rayman I might add) I would never have taken up playing video games as a hobby.

My parents got me into the game a little late. I missed out on the NES and Genesis but started with the SNES and Super Mario World.

That I personally owned; Sega Genesis with Sonic the Hedgehog in 1991ish.  I played the hell out of Super Mario Bros and Metroid at friends houses and my cousin loaned me her NES (she was like 15 at the time and kinda stopped playing games) with those games, but I didn't own it.

Edit: I have no idea which ones I got first. My parents bought it around 91-92. All I remember is the good times I had with it.

I had a gameboy/tetris early on.  Parents wouldn't buy an actual console, but when I saved up enough for the N64 I got it together with Goldeneye.  Circa 1997

Atari 2600 was the first console and Adventure was my first game.

Christmas of 1997 (or maybe 98, I honestly can't remember which), I got an N64 with Diddy Kong Racing. 

Atari 2600 - Combat came with it, but I remember getting the crappy Pacman game for the 2600 and Pitfall.

I'm the youngest of four so that kind of muddles the issue of "first" as well as the issue of ownership.  Games/systems were in my house before I was born ('86) and they belonged to everybody.  The first system I purchased for myself that belonged solely to me was the original playstation and the first game was either Monster Rancher or Legend of Legaia.  Can't really remember which.

Sega Megadrive (Genesis) and FIFA 96. Actually that might have been 95, still own it somewhere.
