Things you would want if you were a paying GB member.

I have been thinking about the financial struggles GB might be going through... I can't imagine the tiny amount of ads here pays for everyone's salaries, games, & gear. Anyway if they started a premium service for paying member what would you want. Here is what I have compiled.

1. A live webcam of the Giantbomb Office (This HAS to be decent quality or its worthless)
   
2. A subscription members only forum
3. HD Videos < - Especially this one.
4. Ad-free (This should be a given)
5. Maybe some behind the scenes videos of our favorite GB personalities.
   
6. .... ?

A much, much, much less buggy posting/editing system.

HD video is the only thing I can think of.  A live web cam sounds a bit creepy and I'd hate it if the site held back content from nonpaying users.  Also I don't think the guys are struggling it all.  If they were, Whiskey wouldn't have just launched a new website.

HD video would be great!  Other than that I'm not sure what i'd want.

Throwing members a free shirt would be cool and a discount would be welcome, but they need more merch.

The ability to block certain users.  Some people on this website are so annoying, I would rather not see what they post.

I don't think removing ads for paying members would really make sense on a marketing basis. Why do companies want to advertise with you, if your most hardcore consumer base (which would be those who choose to pay) are not going to see the ads? 
Webcam, as said above, is a terrible idea. 
HD Video is a good idea I guess as the money you put forward would help supplement the bandwidth. 
Everything regarding user segregation/prioritising is a bad idea, because it discourages new users.

I wouldn't want anything other than ad removal. Anything else would divide the userbase - which is never a good thing.

The ability to post videos is all I can think of. Maybe some Wiki privileges.

I don't think I'd pay for any of that but a live webcam of the office would be interesting but I feel it would be a bit creepy as well. And how would we be surprised at the awesomeness of the mailbag and other in-the-office videos if we see them shooting it on the webcam?

I'd pay for 4.  Agree on the rest.  TBH I'd just pay a subscription because I think the content is worth it.  I would actively not pay for anything that segregates the user base, mostly because we will end up with a bunch of 'tards thinking they are unbannable and acting like they own the place. "

Even then, I am not paying for a website of any description.  Nothing they could offer would be even slightly worth it.
