I used the white Giantbomb a whole bunch back before the redesign. Why hasn't it returned?
Whatever happened to the fabled white Giantbomb?
I think the staff already covered this a few times. They said the site is due for a redesign and I think its going back to white along with the charts.
" I hope we can still have the option to keep the site black after the redesign. White is too blinding on my screen after looking at it for a while. "just about to say that, I like the black design alot
Why is everything about color, man? It's the new millennium, and we should be able to see past these color barriers.
It's probably coming back, and hey what do you know.. We could actually be able to use the "skin" we want :D
How awesome is that? Right?
right?.... Hello?
" Why is everything about color, man? It's the new millennium, and we should be able to see past these color barriers. "There should be more color now, since we the world is more connected.
One of the most off-putting things in games today is the fact that most games seem to come out in black and white (with some red).
" I just posted a topic and this happened. There's a glitch in the Matrix!
"
You racist. Ahem. But like Andorkski said, white is a little in-your-face. I want to keep the black/grey skin.
Never understood the appeal to using this site with the white skin, it blinded my eyes, the black skin is just so much easier on the eyes. :)
" white is stupid. it fucking hurts your eyes when your in a dark room, and its a waste of energy. black is the way to go "amazing quote.
I didn't know there were so many others who preferred the white color scheme. We should combine our numbers!
We could be called "The Giantbomb White Supremacists".
Waaaaaiit...
It's different for a lot of people." white is stupid. it fucking hurts your eyes when your in a dark room, and its a waste of energy. black is the way to go "
Personally, reading light text on a dark background is a serious strain on my eyes, I can't even read long blog posts on here, without copying and pasting all the text into notepad.
And switching to a light website after being on here for a period of time is blinding.
Also, as a design student, I'd say dark text on a light background just looks much nicer too.
I don't know, but I really don't care. I prefer black. It's just easier to see when the background is back, and it fits the site very well.
