Uh, pointless post aside, none of those interest me. I'm kind of burned out on FPS games and Gears 2 when I owned it didn't really blow me away. I think I'll just play the FPS games I already own for a while. Maybe until Rage is out- that looks pretty original.

yeah I am pretty burned out to. I am just looking to crysis 2 because its like cod and halo. Thats kind of why I care.
I am actually just noticing, besides shooters and motion games what else that is at least kinda high profile is coming out this year? Any RPGs or maybe even some sort of Hack n Sash?

Fable III is all I can think of at the moment.
As for shooters, Reach is most definitely at the top of my list. Other than that, I'll probably pick up Crysis 2 and maybe rent Black Ops.
Killzone 3 and Bulletstorm look great, but those are both 2011. And of course Rage, but that's quite a ways off.

Probably Crysis 2 on PC, if only to watch my computer burst into flames. I'm buying Bulletstorm on day 1, however. Despite Cliffy B's demeanor, he's sold me on this game being completely over the top and a ton of fun.
Crysis 2. I don't have any consoles right now (and probably wouldn't play shooters on them if I did), and Medal of Honor and Call of Duty 7 don't really interest me as more than games I may buy years down the road for 5-10 bucks.
I chose Killzone 3 even though it ain't gonna be out, haha. Seriously though, I'd choose Medal of Honor or Black Ops. It's a hard choice, because they both have the potential to be good games. We'll just have to see.
Gears. I'll never buy another COD game, not after MW2 and how pissed off I get when I play it. And I've never been a Halo fan. Never been much of a shooter fan.
Mainly Crysis 2. I'll probably get all the rest as well (except for maybe Medal of Honor). But Crysis 2 since you asked what we want to buy most for this year. If you had asked what shooting games that come out this year and next? I'd say Crysis 2, the new Ghost Recon, and Dead Space 2.

We've had plenty of non-shooters during the last six months, and there's plenty more coming: Fable III, Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood, Fallout: New Vegas, Castlevania: Lords of Shadow, Enslaved: Odyssey to the West, Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit, Kirby's Epic Yarn, Donkey Kong Country Returns, Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective, and probably a bunch of others I don't know about.
