Do You Have Any Game Related Goals For The Upcoming Summer?

Hey everyone. As we all know, Summer is slowly started to creep up and I was wondering if any of you duders had any game related goals, such as games to beat, achievements to unlock, etc. Here are mine:

1) Get The Zombie Genocide Achievement In Left 4 Dead
Killing 53,595 zombies will be tough, but it's definitely not impossible. I figure if I spend most of the time I play this game going through the campaign a few times and Survival Mode (as long as I don't get stuck with no mic glitchers/cheaters) I should get this in no time. I'm currently at around 11,000, so I should in theory get this before

Like every summer, I play KOTOR1. That's pretty much it because my summer is all about chilling outdoors.

Actually, I have been thinking about this exact question. I have a few things to do myself.

1. Play Bioshock....again. For the, uh, third time :) And this time on the hardest difficulty. I am not sure whether or not to turn off vitachambers.
2. Finish Metal Gear Solid 4. I have it, played it, loved it so far, but haven't finished it. Hopefully it will still love me when I come back to it.
3. Finish Fallout 3 and RE5, if I haven't already. I am going to put in some time in both of them over the next month, and they should be done by then. Unfortunately, I always get side-tracked with other games, movies, TV shows, and, yes, work.
4. 1000/1000 Lego Indiana Jones. I am almost there (690 I think). It shouldn't take that much effort.
   
5. Play more Left 4 Dead and Street Fighter IV.
   

I would not have the patience to play through Bioshock on the hardest difficulty. To be honest, I almost got rid of it after the first hour because I started out on Medium and died constantly.

Yeah, I understand. Still, you could, uh, die your way through the game, though that is a bit sloppy. I have actually already gotten through a good chunk of it (maybe 5-6 hours) on the hardest difficulty and I only died twice, so that bodes well for the future.

Beat the rest of my N64 games and finish Halo 3's skulls so I can get the Elite Armour.

I'll be off getting my pilot's license - not that I'm gloating of course ;)

But I plan on buying and owning at Prototype.

I plan on reacquiring TWEWY and finishing that, after having reached the third week then proceeding to lose my DS >_>
I'm also planning to: buy MGS4 and play through that again; (possibly) buy a new computer and get back into Oblivion; generally catch up on a shite-load of games I've missed over the last few months; spend my 1000 Nintendo/DSi points, or w/e they're referred to as, on anything that's not crap.

 Still, you could, uh, die your way through the game, though that is a bit sloppy.

I want to get all 99 achievements in The Orange Box.

I would like to work on Mario Golf 64 a little bit because I don't have that many characters that are unlocked.  I also need to work on the Secret of Mana, because I haven't gotten too far in that game! :D

I have a few:

1. Beat Farcry 2
2. Get to rank 100 Gears of war 2
3. Get rest of Fable 2 achievements
4. Reach 60k gamerscore currently at 45k

most of mine are just to buy games... lol

buy infamous or prototype, undecided.

beat fallout 3 for my second time with bad karma.

beat the original uncharted...

Buy Prototype, Bioshock 2, and relax....

Beat Puzzle Quest.
Get my hands on Korg 10 for the DS.
Play through Fable 2 again... maybe.

Play copious amounts of:

Left 4 Dead
Empire Total War
Battlefield 2

Replay:

Far Cry 2
Zelda OOT
Super Mario 64 DS
GTA IV

Buy:

Battlefield 1943
Sims 3 (possibly idk)

Play games that I've owned for over a year now and yet have not played:
Super Mario Sunshine
Pikmin 2

Rent:
A ton of games from gamefly!

Of course I wont meet all these goals as I'll have other things to do. But I like to keep my options open! I'll probably end up playing L4D a lot more than the rest, I just bought it on the steam deal and I have people to play it with.  I imagine that  I'll go to play a different game but get dragged into a L4D game every time.

On that note: This is the first summer in years that I've been truly excited about.  Like, as a child excited.   I had a rough finals month in April so I'm ready to totally rest for a few months.

I have small goals for now.

Complete my season in College Hoops 2K8 and make the big dance. "Win my conference tournament and advance to the NCAA Tournament and win one game."

Tiger Woods 09 for the Wii... win all four majors in career mode. I've already preordered TW10 for the Wii, so this must be done before 6/14/09.

The rest of my games, no goals set... just play.

Dominate in my UFC 2009 online league.

Hope and pray that Crimson Gem Saga is everything I want in a traditional style, PSP RPG.

Play the hell out of inFamous.

I was going to do my 24 hour gaming marathon madness. 

My only goal is to play games.

My one goal: Finally complete the Endless Set List 2 on Rock Band 2.

After that? Who knows, maybe I'll start up my quest for achievements again.

Endless Setlist 2 comes to mind. I've never gotten the chance to devote that much time into one sitting. I'll probably play some UFC 09 when that comes out, maybe buy Red Faction 2, but that's kind of iffy. Beat the Pitt and Broken Steel in Fallout 3.

Haha, I guess that's an alternative. I tried doing that on my Medium playthrough when I first got it, but you have no idea how hard it is to kill a Big Daddy with half health, no ammo, and just one plasmid (electro shock). I also had no money at the time to buy health and ammo./"

I don't have any real specific goal, except maybe to beat some of the games in my backlog.

Pretty much "beat a lot of Saturn RPGs." And "review."

I want to get the full 1000 points out of a game.  It may end up being something easy like Fight Night though.  I'm also planning on getting a PS3 and an HDTV.

Finish off every game I ever bought that is not broken now with one exception.

Let me get this straight... Your goal, is to kill... Over forty-thousand zombies... By the end of the summer?

Nah... i've never cared much about that, although a 50 in  team objective would be the sweetest thing ever... need teamates though. teammates who can do other things than run around blindly with a BR.

Continue to play game normally as summer means nothing when you aren't in school anymore :/

However will replay Bioshock on PC before Bioshock 2 comes out.

1. Finish Fallout 3
2. Get 1000 gamerscore for COD4
3. Do all of the road rules/showtimes in Burnout Paradise
4. Finish Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts
5. Play through Chrono Trigger again

i don't really have goals this summer. i want to beat fallout 3 before the summer so i can have time for infamous, prototype, battlefield 1943, fat princess, etc. 

Beat Dragon Quest 8 and Final Fantasy 12, get all camo for guns in COD4, beat Mass Effect for a 2nd time, play any Fallout 3 DLC (at the very least Broken Steel).

Just 100% both Teh Orange Box and Left 4 Dead. There's a few games this summer that I'm looking forward to purchasing and playing, that is if my work allows me time off. Oh yeah and break 50k gamerscore.

1- To buy Prototype , Mafia II and Bioshock 2 .

2- Replay Bioshock , Gears of War 1 & 2 , Fable II .

3- Play more point and click adventure games including Art of Murder 1&2 and Upcoming titles such as  Still life 2 , Runaway 3 , Mysterious Island II .

Probably go through all the Fallout 3 DLC and maybe go for the full achievements on it, other than that, I don't know. I might try going outside this year.

I plan on becoming more of a "gamer" over the summer. On un-game related goals. I plan to get my full blown license.

Finally play tales of vesparia because it doesn't ship to Aus until the 30/7 and play a lot more left 4 dead
