Room mate keeps smoking pot in the bathroom. What should I do?

Confront him, tell him to get his act together, or you're calling the cops. Simple.
I change my answer to this. In my experience, I notice people respond well to threats.
On a side note...maybe have a baseball bat or blunt object slung across his shoulder, just in case he's too baked to take him seriously. A 60% chance that an object capable of splitting your skull being real is better than not having that influence whatsoever...
Just have a civil discussion with him duder...tell him that is bugs you and ask him to go outside or use a spoof tube...aka a pop bottle cut in half and stuffed with dryer sheets.

Could someone explain to me this Ryan Davis/NARC meme? I never understood where it came from.
Ryan busted into a bunch of random people in a hotel and drunkenly accused them of smoking pot or doing heroin. After throwing a beer bottle at one of the people he ran out sobbing. He then tweeted about the drug use to the hotel to force them to be kicked out and charged by the police.
The accused man is now serving a life sentence.
I think he's gonna be murdered .

The title pretty much sums it up. He was already a really disgusting and smelly person but luckily kept his filthy lifestyle isolated to his room (stink can't be contained as easily unfortunately). When I moved back in after the Summer I discovered a cigarette butt in the bathroom but I didn't want to jump to conclusions. The very next day I walked into the bathroom and it reeked of pot and febreeze. I thought he would stop now that I had moved back in but his shitty habit has only increased in frequency since the first day. He must smoke up in the bathroom at least 2-3 times a day on most days. Should I just confront him, and if so what should I say? It's bullshit that I'm forced into a situation like this just because he's an inconsiderate moron. So what should I do GB?
I will step out of troll mode for a second and tell you exactly what to do. Tell him that it reeks, and that he needs to do something about the smell to stop it before he gets in trouble. Tell him that a vaporizer will not only remove the smell, it will remove the smoke, so he can actually smoke in his room. And if he can't get a vaporizer and can't find a way to get rid of the odor (another possibility would be using a gravity bong and a sploof, and blowing the smoke through the sploof into the shower), there will be problems.
I'm assuming you're living with him in a college dorm. In that case, you should definitely confront him about it. I mean, if he gets caught, that could get pinned on you.
Tell him to smoke it out the window in his own room.
Sounds like him smoking pot isn't really the only problem you have with him. Maybe it's time for an intervention and just bring up the honest truth regarding your living arrangements and how unhappy you are about his presence. Maybe ask him to move out or better yet maybe start making preparations too move out yourself? I'm sure you have plenty of friends willing to share a place if you just put the feelers out there.
Best solution is to live alone. It's more expensive, but I've never had a room mate. I am my own master! Or I would be if I didn't have to work 6-7 days a week to pay for my way too expensive apartment given my economy, but you don't have to live in something like that. Even when I lived in shitty apartment (by middle class standards at least) it was better than living with a bunch of other people. but too each his own, my cousin share a small apartment with like a dozen people so that she can spend her money on traveling instead of cost of living. It's all a matter of priority.

smoke with him!
If you're not down it sounds like you haven't talked to him about it yet? Just politely ask him to stop and go from there IMO
This is pretty much the epitome of a good comment for this thread. You give him two appropriate choices and dont hate on him for most likely not wanting to smoke.

Hahaha. Yeah, totally. That would totally suck.
Someone has to! :(@TaliciaDragonsong said:
Tell him to smoke outsides, garage or anywhere else that's not in the house.stop filling this thread with seriousness
@RsistncE Buy a baggy of coke and 2 psychotropic mushrooms get him to eat the mushrooms (which from what you say about his smoking habits it sounds like it wouldn't be too hard) after they kick in stash the baggy of coke in his pocket and give him a gentle nudge outside lock the door and let him get into shenanigans. One of 3 things will happen after that, the first is you might get a call from the police hours later saying he's in jail, the second you might get a call a day later saying hes dead, or third he might wander back one day all strung out and naked with a crazy story to tell after which you guys will be best buds forever, problem solved either which way.
Subject him to a series of violent sexual assaults and savage beatings, over the course of many months, until he gets the picture.

On second thought, this sounds like the best course of action.
@RsistncE: You do what I did whenever I had the same issue with a roommate: you sit them down in the living room and tell them "this shit isn't going to cut it, and it isn't going to be allowed". When they defy what you say...and trust me, they will...that's when you say "alright, give me one second so you can understand the level of seriousness I am addressing this with".
You then walk into your room, grab your baseball bat (you DO have a good Louisville Slugger in your room, right?), then walk back out and prop yourself up on it and say "now, to reiterate my point that this will not be tolerated, I will let you stand here for a second and imagine what this baseball bat would look like caving your head in if you don't wise up and stop acting like a fucktard".
That stopped the person real quick...and made them move out...which was good, because they were an asshole anyways. = D
P.S. - If he tries to pull the whole "that's a threat" thing, you can very easily say "I've never once stated that I was going to hurt you...there's no threat...you are simply imagining things".

Yeah but that would make you a bigger asshole than he is...
