Level 60 has Been Reached
Bring on Mass Effect 2!
" Oh man, I hope you already know your level doesn't carry over, or you're gonna be super-pissed... "I heard that you get something special in ME2 when you get level 60 for your character. I hope what I heard isn't wrong. It was a pain to get to Level 60.
" @Jimbo said:Nope. Your level doesn't carry over." Oh man, I hope you already know your level doesn't carry over, or you're gonna be super-pissed... "Your character and level carry over onto the 2nd game. "
Congratulations man, I can never get past the Spectre Induction without eventually playing something else.
I hit level 60 the day before yesterday. It wasn't that hard to reach. After the first play-trough I was already level 45 because I grinded the planets good. It took me three play-throughs to reach 60, and the third time I tried to do some unexpected things like simply leaving Wrex at C-Sec or picking up Liara at the last moment possible, after Virmire.
If wonder if and how Bioware will address these points.
I really should go back and play Mass Effect again and get to Level 60. I think I started a new campaign with my Level 46 guy. I can definitely get to Level 60 with him.
I already hit the 50 cap hours before finishing my 1st playthrough, 60 should be doable when I ramp up for another run. Now I'm itching to play it...

The one game save I should have never deleted was my lvl 38 and for some reason I deleted it so I never got back to playing it because it would take forever to get to 60 from 1 so I will more than likely never get that.
Congrats btw only 8.0% of the people on here have this one.
Pretty cool dude. Haven't played all that much Mass Effect so I'm not exactly sure on the gravity of achieving this, but 60 seems to be a high of a number.
Well, the PC version doesn't appear in the statistics (technically impossible, the achievements are stored locally), so that number is probably much higher." " @CitizenKane said:No, because I forgot to do all the side missions before it was too late. I got to Level 56, so it won't take me long to get to it in another play through." I forgot what Bioware said about this. Do you at least get to carry over the extra skills you picked w/yur high level characters for ME2?? Anyone able to summarize this carryover business? Thanks if so in advance. I have a lvl 55, and 60 shouldn't be too hard to get to, but I just lost interest during my second playthrough back then.....the sides are soooo boring, especially the second time through.
Good for you. I think my guy was somewhere in the mid 40s when I beat the game, but I lack the patience to play through ME again.
" @CitizenKane: Play on the insane difficulty. You get an...well, insane... amounts of exp points. "I might as well play all the way through on Insane. I need to get more Achievements while I wait for Halo 3: ODST to release.
I'm at level 58 right now, I didn't realise what level i'm on. I play this game over and over because it's fun. I'll repost here if I am at level 60 with a screenshot.
edit: just got to level 59.
I'm at 59 and when that level turned over I realized it'd be a third playthrough before getting it :( 200,000 XP out of a total 800,000 just to get from 59 to 60.

I just got level 60 recently and am very close to finishing insane mode but it's getting a bit boring at this stage so I don't know if I'm bothered.
Btw did anyone buy the recent DLC? I hear it's complete rubbish although paying 400MS points is tempting as it has an easy 150 points of achievements, however the idea of paying for achievements sucks, because that's practically what is is.
I hope the DLC for Mass Effect is actualy decent like Point Lookout, Broken Steel, and the Lost and Damned were in their respective games.

I ran through it with my 60. Piece of cake. Still a waste of monies though.
" @nail1080 said:That's what I was thinking, but then again it would get me up to over a 1000 points on Mass Effect, which would be pretty sweet as the norm is around the 500-600 mark from what I've seen on most profiles :phttp://www.giantbomb.com/mass-effect/61-16909/user_reviews/?review=10615 I ran through it with my 60. I'm almost at level 50 with my third character. My first character is a level 54. I could have easily gotten to level 60 on a second playthrough with him, but I'm also going for the Completionist achievement. Plus, I wanted to be a character that uses Biotic powers because my first one is a Solider.
" @Metroid545 said:yeah i completely missed the game but I ordered it like 3 days ago when I remembered it :P" and to think i haven't even played this yet ":O "
I said I was going to post it when i'm at level 60, I am there now. It took more than a few play thoughs and my stats are quite high. It's on the pc version, not sure if it would give me any rewards for it for mass effect 2.
