I was in the midst of a round of Team Fortress 2. Someone on the server was name "MICHEAL JACKSON'S SPIRIT". I didn't quite get it, but then someone else asked "So who else is happy that Micheal Jackson is dead?" Then I thought, "huh?" Other people started asking whether he's actually dead, and they confirmed. After accepting the fact I asked myself "Would I have wanted him dead? o.O" The answer was no. I mean, he's still a dude and like Ryan said his impact on music is evident despite the last decade or so of his life. So.. rest in peace i guess.

P.S. Now Perez Hilton... okay, maybe not dead.. but tortured into insanity or something like that. Or maybe until he loses his voice from screaming for help too much.

Seriously? There are more important things going on in the world.

I heard that he was rushed to the hospital while I was home, than I went with my dad to pick up some dinner. When we came home my mom told us that Fox had reported that he was dead but NBC was saying that he was in a Coma. We put on the TV and NBC then confirmed he was dead.

I was playing with my iPhone, and saw Olivia Munn's tweet about it. So sad.

I was at home, watching the news. I said "hmm", then moved on with my life.

On my couch watching TV and a breaking news alert came up.

Was at work, everyone else was gone and I went over to Kotaku to see if there was any interesting news, and the top story was that "Michael Jackson has Died".  Strange place to have the news broken to me, especially with the Moonwalker screenshot accompanying it.

I was in my father's office, looking at GiantBomb. I read Ryan's story.

I was in my English class from 1:00 - 3:50 pm. Someone shouted it out during the class, maybe around 2:00.

Honestly, if we weren't complaining about the fact that there are more important stories in the world to be covered right now than Michael Jackson's death, we'd probably be complaining about how they're beating those other proverbial horses to death anyways.  As they will eventually do with this one.

After I just woke up. In the morning! What a way to start a day.

In my room, around 11:30pm.  Was about to go to switch off the PC and go to sleep when I got a tweet from Capcom_Unity saying that Michael Jackson has died.

I was playing GTA 4 and one of my friends from Britain told me about it. I then proceeded to tell all my friends and none of them believed me.

Playing COD4: Hardcore TM on Ambush.  Didn't even believe it at first...

I was surfin the web and watching the tv, came across the story, then immediately turned my attention back to TPB.

i was sitting right here watching all the confusion happening on cnn.com and msn.com... he has been hospitalized to he died to he is in a coma back to he died...

My wife told me, she was watching television. Farrah Fawcett had died earlier and I was like... damn. What the hell?

I was working out with a friend when my sis knocked on my door and told me he was dead. It didn't really hit me until I heard it in the news. Long live the king of pop!

so many people got the news from thier sisters, wow.  i got it from my dad who was trying out the internet on his new cellphone

i heard it from a co-worker at work.

i was on here posting and then heard that he was dead. i was sad to hear that he died. he like invented pop music, everyone knows who he is.

I was sitting here on Giantbomb when I saw the first thread. I had to run back and forth to my T.V. and back here to check if it was real or not. Crazy.

Took a nap the whole aftermoon. When i woke up, mom told me
