You clearly haven't seen 'Monsters' It's maybe not the best movie ever, but he handles the concept with an ease, interest and maturity that is really involving and refreshing. I'm happy to have faith until Godzilla is out and I can see it for myself.
Is there some secret reason no one on the GB team seems down with talking about Last of Us, never mind playing it? There seems to be this dark cloud around that game for them, like LoU was some guy who married GB's sister and when the marriage went sour there was an ugly divorce and the sister was diagnosed with depression and tried to take her own life. Or something.
Has anyone else noticed this vibe though? Any ideas why?
Always good to see Bioshock on these lists :) I do feel like you're looking through some nostalgia glasses on a couple but it's very much your right to do so on a 'favorite games' list.

It's been on my mind since holiday 2012 and stuff like Far Cry 3 and Bioshock Infinite being great games and looking (comparatively) lacking on consoles.
I'm curious to know what you guys/gals think about the possibility of a Bioshock/Far Cry etc GotY version hitting next gen in it's early months. Seems smart enough with an inevitable drought of software post launch and relative ease of porting (considering the PC to next gen power equivalence.) That said I've heard nothing about it, no talk, no rumors, so I thought I'd throw the question out there.
The design is pretty friggin tasteless. The Cortana issue is absolutely valid too, her design is stupid and juvenile and it almost goes to prove his point. The industry IS full of man babies, some people at 343 included.
Lets stop attacking this guy individually and recognize it's true for most AAA developers out there. It doesn't matter if he's a hypocrite, what he said is still right.
I'm not too much of a handheld guy typically but I bought a Vita a few weeks ago and am loving it. Having PS Plus and a big rip-off memory card are essential but I am really happy with the it.
