They may not always be the best, but they're games that hold a place in my heart for some reason or another. They're not in any particular order, although I admit that Persona 4 is probably one of my favorite games ever. (in before Endurance Run!)

It was hard to pick one game, since they're mostly the same game but with improvements, but City Folk kind of pissed me off. So I just went with the whole series.
All levels, all items. Suck it. Your tourney types are ruining a perfect game.

Probably the best straight-forward Kirby experience.
This game blew my effin' mind, man.
So far, the best Pokemon in the franchise, and not just because it's the most recent. It really changed a lot of mechanics for the better, and had tons of polish and content. This will likely be overtaken when the remake of Gold and Silver comes out because those games are almost as good as Platinum without all the bells and whistles. Update: Adding SoulsSilver and Pokemon Black/White.

There's a good chance I'm going to own 4 copies of this game at some point in the relative future. Update: as of 6/10/2011 I own this on 360, PC, DS, and my phone.

Silver was one of my favorite games on Gameboy and this is a better version. Makes sense to me.

So far both ME's are amazing for their own reasons and ME3 looks to continue the trend. I'll update this at some point, I'm sure.

Better than the original in every way. What amazes me most about Dead Space 2 is how they manage to squeeze every little bit of tech out of the 360 to make one of the best looking games, and smoothest running games. I also love the sudden transitions into real-time cinematics. It's a bloody brilliant game, to be sure.

I don't know why, but this game just really appeals to me. There's a lot of interesting philosophical things going on here, and the gameplay is pretty solid. I do love me a good turn-based JRPG. It took me a little while to get into it, but now that I am, I love it.
