The choices in the witcher are nothing like in bioware's. Play the first one and see for yourself. "
It has choices, yeah, but no consequences.

Bioware, by no means, invented choices. PC RPGs always had choices. "
 Indeed. "
It has consequences, even because you can choose two completly oposite endings.

And there are times where your options decide who lives and who dies, and that changes the course of the game.

Play it more :p

I agree with the consumer getting more aware of what it is buying, but not always turn it into a boycott, as it is becoming a trend.

I personally only boycott individual measures that are abusive to the consumer.

And to me modern warfare doesn't speak much, less even at a higher price.

My only sadness with Activision Blizzard is Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2, as it sounds very tempting, but for now i won't buy till i know how at what conditions the dlc for xbox 360/ps3 will be made available.

LOL then think about this again when he finds a way of milking even more money from you with that same franchise. And think about your moral.

While we can't confuse the CEO of a company for it's product, the thing is that... if the consumer doesn't fight it back against dubius strategies and behaviours, this media will get more and more money hungry and less ethical.

If that's what you want, then by all means...

Just know when it's time to jump ship.

Added to my wishlist :D

This looks very promising, and if CD ProjektRed supports players' mods then this could be a classic!

No, you are the crazy one.

I agree with the post, though i do the complete oposite while in trusting the brands.

While it is true that Blizzard Activision, Valve, Lucas Arts (to name a few) are reliable in their games quality, it is also true that they are known to milk regularly and without great ethics the consumer, so i tend to avoid them. I don't like being played with my feelings.

I buy games more on the title at hand than because of the brand.

And justifiying the games' prices with what was before is not a good way of doing it.

If it was really expensive, and now it is less expensive, it's still damn expensive to a normal person.

But this is not the case, as even if the games' prices are a little lower, everything else has skyrocketed.

And also about the argument "get a better job", is besides the point, as we're not discussing jobs, but the state of the industry in the current times.

The only way things can improve is if the public stands together on a common basis and applies pressure on the gaming industries' publishers, or else it will probably be a spiral curling upwards in terms of costs and deficit in business ethics.

The question here is the reasonability of the prices.

the probable issue is the optical lens... so you can buy a dvd lens cleaner or try opening up the xbox, and cleaning the dust and the lens with a bit of cotton and alcoholm though if it is still in warranty it is not advisable.

In that case you should contact the microsoft support.

I'm not getting it.

But i agree that the players and consumers should fight against the publishers over situations of some abuse, because if we don't do it, and just brush off any thought of that, the situation will only get worse.

We will see more and more unreasonable demands and strategies laid to make players pay more and more often for the games they want.

If this is the situation you want... then by all means do nothing!

About buying it in second hand, it's a nice idea. :)

Nice... sadly now it's only in the MW2 bundle.
