• Advance Wars is fantastic and will last you a really long time.
• Pokemon Platinum is worth picking up, that series is fantastic still
• Hotel Dusk is one of my personal favorites, though not really in that category you like. It's more of a lightly interactive novel than a game, but the story and art are fantastic
• I've heard The World Ends With You is really great, haven't tried it myself though
• Final Fantasy III or IV are both great remakes, though you can tell their gameplay is quite dated

Although podcasts aren't exactly my favorite way to get news, I'll give it a listen.

In Mass Effect you can't even actually visit Earth though, it's just mentioned. Do things like that merit inclusion on the page?

I PM'd this list to snide a while back, but it was right before you guys launched the redesign and probably got lost in the shuffle. Figured I'd re-post it here as many of these still are not fixed.

• The views counters are not working correctly. For example, my Lost and Damned guide has 84 views according to the rollup page, but google has directed in 1220 visits according to the "inbound link traffic" section, so one of the two is obviously reporting false numbers. Look here to see for yourself.
  

• Sometimes the option to edit a specific section will break- clicking on the edit button does nothing. (This can be fixed by deleting and re-adding the section, but it's still a bit annoying)
• The option to allow anyone to publish revisions seems bugged. For the Fallout guide, I originally had it set to only I could publish, but later I wanted to allow anyone to publish. Even if I clicked the checkbox and saved my changes, it would always revert back to where only I could save.
• Regardless of which license you choose, it always reverts to a custom license.
• The "Last edited on" text displayed on the guides rollup page displays incorrect dates ( I haven't touched some of my guides in months, but they all show as having been edited this month this appears to have been fixed
  
• The ratings might be bugged, or people are just trolling the guides section and downvoting things. I know the user review averages are (or were) a bit buggy, so maybe this is the same thing. Or just people being jerks. No longer relevant as there's no way to rate guides on the new site
  
• The version history still gets all jumbled when you have a large number of drafts (problem is manifesting itself in the Fallout guide)
• Not necessarily a bug, but the "recent guides" section on the guides main page is ordered according to creation date, not publish date. For example: if I start a guide, keep it unpublished for two months, then publish it, it won't show up on the "recent guides" list, because newer guides have been created and published. It appears to order the list by the numerical string at the end of the URL, which is generated by creation order, NOT publish order. On a sidenote, the top one on the list currently is number 1066, congrats on having over 1000 guides on the site (even though maybe not all of those are published). So I'm not even sure if it's a fixable problem, but ironically, it does ensure that some of the more detailed guides get buried, because a good guide takes a while to work on before publishing, and due to this gets pushed out of the list by the high volume of work which is created and published in a span of days or hours.

I love sniper overpenetration, it's a neat little touch.

One of my favorite moments in Halo: I take a guys shield's down with the sniper, then hit him with a second body shot which kills him. The bullet travels through, bounces off a wall, off the ground, then kills another guy. I was absolutely baffled at the double kill until I watched the film (and was still a little confused, as the film clearly shows the bullet missing the second guy lol).

Still, it's quite satisfying.
