So it's almost that time of year again.

Every year, I throw a game down on my Santa letter. This year, though, I'm not sure which game to choose. I have already played and finished both The Last of Us and GTA V this year, and I'm looking for something story-orientated to get my teeth into this Christmas.

I'm leaning toward Bioshock Infinite or Tomb Raider but I'm not got my mind set on either.

Can anybody recommend anything for me?

Like a lot of others here, i think AC III killed that franchise for me. I loved AC II and forgave the faults of Brotherhood and Revelations in the hope that the third game would take the franchise up a few notches. Unfortunately AC III was spectacularly below my admittedly high expectations. The setting was not done well and the story of Desmond became convoluted and disinteresting. Gameplay which was once fun and refreshing felt formulaic and the main character, Connor, was charming and lacking any emotion spare for anger.

I have no interest in the next installment of this tired franchise and I will likely wait for reviews before deciding whether to give it a playthrough. Regardless there is no way I am contributing to Ubisoft's annual AC cash machine for the foreseeable future

10 days to go until the new premier league season starts!

Can't wait!!

Who do we all think will win? I want to say United, but Chelsea and City are both looking strong at this point.

Been thinking about watching 'Luther' and 'Game of Thrones' for a long time, think i'll get into them now. Starting with Luther.

Lots of recommendations for this 'Twin Peaks' which i've never heard of. I'll definitely give it a look. I'm planning on watching 'The Wire' too, it just seems like a mammoth commitment, i'll wait til i'm finished some others first.

Also I'm looking for a good comedy with similiar humour to 'Arrested Development'. Thinking 'Its always sunny' or 'curb your enthusiasm'. Seen a bit of 'Archer', its ok
