@StarvingGamer: P4A hasn't been released in Europe, Australia and other places. There's still no release date and the publishers don't even have a working copy to put through certification yet.
Just go for TTT2. They're both very different games anyway, the wait for P4A will be quite long so if you're still interested you can pick it up when it eventually comes out. No point pre-ordering right now in case you forget about it and are shipped a game you don't want anymore.
Just finished watching AKB0048, it was actually pretty good. Found myself not really caring about most of the drama though, and the 3D was awful. First episode was my favourite, the concert scene where the idols are flying around and fighting off the No Fun Allowed Police and chopping up mechs was crazy.
Apollo Justice was my least favourite in the series. I was about to say it felt like a bit of a cop out going straight back to phoenix after AJ was less popular, but then I saw Phoenix's swag new suit and hair. Can't wait!
Online is fine, last time I played they seemed to have fixed all of the sound issues that people were complaining about. From what I played gems were never an issue, there isn't one completely overpowered gem. You'll be fine without a fight stick.
Though I'd wait for Tekken Tag 2. I liked this game enough at launch, but the more I played of it the worse it seemed to get. It's just kind of boring, and a lot of matches end in timeouts with people just jabbing over and over until they can get a hit. Have a look at some matches to see if you like the look of it.
If you've played P3 or P4 choose your favourite character from the ones available. If not, choose who you think looks coolest. Go into training mode, learn how all of their normals and specials work. See if you can create some of your own basic combos before heading into challenge mode and then arcade to practice what you've learned. Once you've got a better grasp of your character take them online and practice the stuff you've been learning.
You need to pay attention to what kind of player you are and what type of character best suits you. If you're playing a rushdown character but find yourself playing more defensively and waiting to punish your opponent, then switch to a zoning character.
Basically, play the game more. Try out the different modes and just see who fits the best.
I'm interested to see if they do anything worth-while with him though, because so far, he just seems pointless.
They do, there's a lot more to him than you've seen so far. Plus you can be a total ass to him when he visits you at night without consequence since he's an automatic level up.
