I've beaten both FF13 and Metro2033, and they're both good, but not great.  And they couldn't be any more different.  I've played better jrpgs than FF13, but none better looking.  And Metro is unique.  That game is gritty and doesn't hold the gamers hand.  But that's it's charm really.  If you like survivalesque shooters, I recommend it.  But....what I have found so good is Battlefield Bad Co. 2.  The sp is mediocre, but the mp is so damn addictive and fun.  So if you want a super fun mp game that'll keep you interested for a while try that.  Read Dead Redemption and Alan Wake, both due soon, look to be very good games as well.  RDR may be an exceptional game...I'm sure hoping.

Yeah it is a helluva game.  One of my all-time favs.  Did you get the GOTY edition w/all the DLC?  Almost all the DLC is damn good.  Anyway I played one character for over 350 hrs.  Almost all skills maxed, saved a copy of every piece of gear in the game in 6 or so homes and the tower, and pretty much got so overpowered my character just had to block to kill all comers w/reflect damage.  That game definitely brought out the OCD gamer in me......... like Vinnie,lol.  Enjoy duder!

From what I've gathered the gameworld in RDR will be substantial.  Roughly 3-4 times larger than GTA4 is what I've read most.  The starting 'region' is roughly the size of GTA4 according to several overlay attempts out there.  Then, additionally, you have a northern and southern area of similar sizes as the first.  As the dev Jeronimo(seriously that's the dude's name, lol)and Rob said on the bonus round: You pretty much can just wander as far as you want.------------>

From camp to locations you've been to already.  Trains, horses of course, stages also though, for traveling to take in the scenery and awesome draw distance in the game.  I think I wanna stick to those mostly for sustained immersion.

Have been and am still very interested.  This should be very good.  The dev team is like an allstar team from other games.  The art style is cool by me but it really polarizes gamers.  Love or hate it apparently...just like these reactions in here.

While your point is indeed very valid, and I hear your frustration, no, it just wouldn't be right, or smart on Dice's part to limit classes.  People just need to learn to play the game correctly, and we should squad up with friends who communicate as much as possible.

Not interested in the mp.  Still want the game for the co-op stuff and hopefully there is a firefight mode.  I played the Halo 3 mp for over a year, and this mp is just more of the same.  I was really hoping for a much more evolved experience.  Bungie just keeps adding little things that are either inconsequential, or affect gameplay very little(armor choices), and have refused to take any chances imo.

Very intriguing.  I really like the tone and real Afghan conflict setting the trailers have been about.  I hope the emotional weight in the game matches this stuff we're seeing now.  But I wonder how they can really pull that off.  A shooter w/a honest emotional and compelling story, with great gameplay that doesn't stray or become some contradictory corny heroic shit? Good to see the MoH team taking what appears to be some chances anyway.

Recently, cuz there's been so many, lol, Darksiders.  That damn bigass spider, can't remember the name.  What a bitch.  Maybe down the road I'll go back.  I did backtrack a bit and got set up w/full health but got off into other games.  Fun while it lasted though.  Loved me some LO btw.  Simply refused to quit, and completed almost everything in that game.
