Sounds like they are turning it into a standard action game with some horror elements. Not exactly where I expected the series to go, but I enjoyed the first two games so I'll give them the benefit of the doubt for now.

You know you could always ask her how she feels. That would pretty much solve your problem. But I agree that she probably just doesn't like being ignored.

Well my Mom was very against video games when I was a kid so I never owned a console until I was earning my own money at which point I bought an Xbox. So think of every classic non-PC game you can think of and I probably missed it. I spent my teenage years trying to catch up but it's hard. I can now say I have at least seen almost every classic played and tried a fair share of them myself. But as far as missing them at the time they came out, there were a crap load. That said, I did play a lot of classic PC games that most people missed like the original Warcraft or Ultima Underworld. My Mom would never let me get id's games though so I didn't play the Doom games until Doom 3 came out and I bought a computer and the game with my own money. I didn't play anything Quake until last year. I do my best to catch up on things I missed but its hard.

I chose 360 because that is generally my choice due to preferring the controller and that generally the 360 version performs and looks slightly better. But I always check Digital Foundry before making a choice just in case the PS3 version happens to be a lot better in which case I'll go with that version. I should note, though, that this is mostly referring to renting. If I am going to buy it then I'll buy it for PC. It's cheaper, especially due to Steam sales, and performance, controls and graphics are all better, or in the case of controls identical because I have the wireless 360 controller adapter so I can play any game with a 360 controller.

Or, you know, you could just not use offensive language due to the fact that people may find it offensive. Just because something may or may not be allowed doesn't mean you should say it. There are certain words that simply shouldn't be said regardless of situation. Just because they don't offend you doesn't mean they won't deeply offend someone else. Just look at the number of celebrities that have been kicked off shows for using the word Ryan used, and he honestly could have been fired for saying it. There is no need to use that language. A good and decent person would simply not use those words for any reason.

On the subject, I have definitely said stupid things to people I've really regretted afterwards, but there are certain words I can safely say I have never spoken in my life no matter what the situation. What Ryan said is one of those words. Even in rage and alone in my room I've never said that. There are a couple other words I simply never speak, such as the N word and the C word Vinny used. I won't call someone out for using them, but they aren't words I would ever say out loud simply out of respect for the people those words insult.

Where is the neither option? I was interested in Dragon's Dogma but the demo wasn't very fun for me so I think I'm going to skip it.

I go to movies by myself more often than I go with people honestly. While this year I've been very busy, in previous years I would go see a movie every weekend. Once in a while a friend wanted to join me but more often than not I would just go by myself. I do the same with restaurants. I eat out alone all the time. I don't mind eating out with friends but often I prefer to just be with myself.

You immediately apologized on the stream so obviously you didn't mean it. You guys were frustrated. Shit happens. You have owned up to it and anyone who can't forgive you has their own problems to deal with.

Life can have purpose. Find something you love doing and do it. There is always a way out of a bad situation. Take it from someone who once attempted suicide and thought life would never get better. A decade later I've found a purpose in life. I'm happy, decently healthy, and have some really great friends. It can and will change. Sometimes things will get worse. Other times they'll get better, but life it worth living and in the end things will work out. Trust me I've been there. If you still don't believe me I'd suggest googling The Cab Ride. It's an incredible true short story about how you can find purpose in the most unlikely of places.
