Right now I haven't really listened to a Bombast in at least 5 months. For the first time I am 99% sure I am cancelling my sub...s...

For PC I like the Logitech G930, but for my PS3 the Sony Pulse headphones were good.

So, is there anything up with the chat? I noticed the Twitch chat was hidden or turned off and people were telling me that they were wanting us to use the chat through the site. Well, it shows me 7670 watching/0 chatting...and that's on every browser. Didn't know if I was missing something or if the chat was messing up for other people? I can tell he's talking to people in a chat somewhere. Just curious. Thanks ><

Which means it will be a while before I get one. I would not use the device consistently and I would need proof developers were making games especially for the peripheral opposed to these barely passable "proof of concept" demos that are being released now.

I was told by a few women who I asked this to on Facebook (that I personally know) what they thought and she said that men don't really have body types thrown at them and only women do. I was also told that since women get eating disorders from self esteem and body issues that men do not even though I personally know men who DO and I also linked several studies showing 1 in 4 men suffer from eating disorders related to the same problems.

Are body issues larger for women? Yeah, but modern feminism is such that if you do not agree 100% with their argument then you are "a troll" and they try to make your argument illegitimate. Anita Sarkeesian may have good intentions but since she only ever calls out trolls and never has an actual debate with anyone intelligent, well read, and respectable she only ever comes off as wanting softballs thrown her way so she looks victorious. Not to mention her web videos haven't talked about or shown things that have been beaten to death with no new, original, or increasingly thought provoking commentary from her side or opinion. That's my problem. I don't hate her, I just think her work comes across as lazy and old hat. If she wants to throw it in my face that this industry is sexist then she needs to find new material and not everything I already know.

@splodge: Yeah, but wasn't the Kinect like $100 on its own or something around there?

I love all the Bombers, but sometimes I hate to hear them talk about games. Granted, they are in the "business" and play games all the time but at times they mostly just sound to cynical for me to ever relate to. Vinny is the closest, by far, but at times Brad and Jeff come off as insufferable. If Ryan were still around I would more closely resemble him.

Example, Jeff at time berates a game for having an "unnecessary" sequel but then gets excited for anotherCall of Duty or another Skylanders. Then as another user states, Brad tends to get lost in one game for months, maybe years, at a time and ONLY plays that game (outside of the duties of his job). I have played CS for like14 years but I still play other freaking games.

When I hear someone say "Computer game" I simply think of a video game played on a PC or laptop: nothing more and nothing less. I know it sounds snarky but a computer game is what it sounds like it is: a game played on the computer.

I hate Gamestop as a company because they are a glorified pawn shop. They buy a game at 10% of its MSRP but then sell it for only $5-$8 cheaper? They make an incredible amount of money because the majority of their shopping base considers their convenience to trump the amount of money they essentially lose in the end. Taking a Kinect for $5-10 but selling it for $80 or $90? Come on, that's insane. Taking $5 for a Wii?

I have no problem buying a new game from Gamestop but I NEVER buy a used game from Gamestop. I'd rather take my chances buying a used game on Ebay or Craigslist first. In terms of pre-ordering a game I always go where I get the better deal: Amazon, Best Buy, or Gamestop.

As a person who owns both a WiiU and a Sega Nomad, I don't see the comparison at all. The difference is that the Sega Nomad was designed to be a portable and played away from the home. This means that the plethora of batteries and the minimum battery life is a hindrance to play, not to mention its size. You can't exactly plug in an AC adapter while playing on the bus or sitting on a bench waiting for your ride. With the Nintendo WiiU gamepad you are always going to be in the home when playing and it was designed as such. Being near an outlet if you have, somehow, managed to exhaust the batteries isn't exactly a crazy idea. Also, the reach of the AC adapter is pretty far and I've never been out of reach of an outlet when playing.

I saw someone else mention taking their WiiU into work and wishing it would work better. This is, as much as I hate to use this phrase, a "first world problem" and not something that I would actually say is a ding against the quality of the system. I have frequently gotten over 5 hours of battery life my from WiiU controller and if I somehow have found the amount of time to play longer then it is not out of the question for me to need to charge the controller while I play. This is not a flaw. I have a Google Nexus 7 tablet which rocks but if I play a graphics intensive apps or games on the thing then it lasts just as long.

Gamers need to understand the limitations of the battery technology that they use.
