No, I am even more awesome in real life, I just need to vent some of it on my internet persona. I saved a choking horse once by suplexing it. Yes, I'm that awesome.
I recently discovered caramel tea, it's awesome. I prefer either lemon, black, chai or fruit tea. I drink my tea without putting sugar cubes in it though.
I always felt like there was an abnormally high amount of amazing grades in these kinds of threads.
Either this is a smart community or the American education system has low standards. Depends on your mood.
My Dad was talking to a professor at State University of New York Albany who teaches chemistry over there. My Dad has worked in chemistry for over 30 years and he constantly complains about how little the new recruits know. And mind you he currently works for GE's power research division so they only take the best of the best.
Anyways, this chemistry professor was saying how he found a copy of a final he gave to his students 30 years ago around the time my Dad was in school. And he told my Dad that he didn't think his current students could have answered a single question on that exam. He wasn't even sure anyone who graduated from the school could answer a single question. He said that the students they got these days came in with so little knowledge that the university ends up spending their entire time teaching students things that 30 years ago they wouldn't have graduated middle school without knowing.
Interesting, though I suppose the reverse can also be said about for example, med school (I don't know if that qualifies as college?). Papers that were released 5, 10, 20, 50 years ago and took up a big chunk of one's life to research and publish, are taught to freshmen. For example, a part of a nation-wide olympiad, I participated in the written test of the United States Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE). Doctors of twenty years ago would have difficulty to passing the test.
My final is in about 8 weeks or so, it's going to be so much fun to read and learn 80 articles (trials, systematic reviews etc.) and about ten medical textbooks of information in the coming holidays.
I loved this game, the combat is unmatched, but it's bogged down by weird design choices. I hate going into menu's to heal, give me on the fly access like assigning healing items to the D-pad. Let me register armor sets or give me a good sorting tool. Just get rid of unnescessary items and submenu's. I disagree rorie, pawn a.i. is child-like, especially in the DLC, they jump off cliffs ffs.
This game needs a fully flegded sequel, cause this is the game that would topple games other games unworthy of mentioning in the presence of Dragon's Dogma.
Might as well make a black, transsexual, homosexual, half-mexican, half-jaimaican, female shaolin monk immigrant paying her college playing women football and get everything out of the way. No offense intended.
I don't understand the outlash against her, are these manchildren only learning now how the world (through nepotism) works?
