@Jost1: What about Gears of War 3. I haven't played it, but, as far as I can tell, the formula of a Gears game is the same in all 3 games. Cover, big monsters, chainsaw dudes. I haven't seen people complain.
Yeah it worked for a third time, but it's not gonna win any Game of the Year Awards this year.

There was also a 3 year gap between the Gears games, compared to the 2 of the Uncharted games. So they made it feel a little more fresh, also no other game handles like Gears in terms of shooting so unless people played Gears 2 non-stop it felt newish.
I can see why Uncharted 3 is getting left out of the nominations. I watched my friend play some of Uncharted 2 again and realized the last quarter of both games are exactly the same. So they probably got a been there done that vibe from the game.
Whales, kind of, i just think it would be terrifying to be in the swimming in ocean and have something as massive as a humpback swim by you. It would be awesome at the same time though.
I saw the 7 minute preview with MI:GP screenings and it wasn't that great.
The clip Is all about Bane, and when he talks it's really hard to understand what he says through the mask, i didn't catch half of the dialogue said. The section involved some stunts with two planes and while it probably took a lot of effort to pull off because i don't think they used any CGI, it wasn't all that exciting.
