If you still haven't played this awesome game yet now you have no excuse, it's on sale for just $2 on Steam. An amazing deal, I'm thinking about buying it even though I already own it for Xbox. Just thought I'd pass this along incase any of you guys are interested.

It's a great game. I got it when it originally released.

I don't have a PC but I might buy for when I do. ;__;

Geez, that's tempting, but I picked up Beyond Good & Evil for five bucks instead. Personally, I just think it's the better rounded game when it comes down to the actual plot and gameplay. Or simply buy both, they are cheap enough. Makes me a little sad I sold my XBox two years ago.

Is there any issues with the PC version?

Played it when it was free on Gametap.  Still, this deal is too good to pass up.  Sold!

Anyone who hasn't played Psychonauts and gets this is in for a real surprise, its my favorite Tim game period it deserved to sell so much better.

This. I just bought it before I even read the thread. Saw the title on the front page, bought the game, then came back to the thread.    Seriously, guys. $2 might as well be free. I can't even eat lunch for that. "

I tried to play that game, and it has such high praise that I thought - surely, I will enjoy this. But each time I tried to play through that game, I lost interest really quick. I don't get why people think its so good. The farthest I got is where you meet the crazy doctor dude or whatever underground (the one you ride the mining cart to) and it never really took off for me.

Yeah, I caved too.  $2 is the price of a Big Mac and this will stay with me longer than one of those.  Even if I only play it a couple of hours that's cheaper than even matinee movie prices.   Besides, if I have it in my games list, the likelihood that I will play it is better than my picking it up used somewhere else.

Buy it. One of the best Steam deals ever.

Just bought it because of this thread. Complete impulse lol. Never got around to playing it, now that its only 2$ how can I not. That's like an entire game for the same price as a single DLC song in Rock Band lol.

As far as I know, it's free on Gametap, where I first played it.

I jumped on this the second I saw it. It'll probably be some time still before I have the chance to play it, though.

Highly doubt my computer will run it, but it two dollars!  What's Steam's Policy on downloading a game you already bought?  As in, if you buy it on Xbox Live, you can download it however many times you need, but if it's not on the system you first downloaded it to, you need to be logged in to play it.

I'm gonna buy it... i finished  Psychonauts on the xbox about 3 months ago and loved it... for two bucks this game is a steal...One of the best games i have played in a long while...

Get it if you have never played this game before. Probably one of the best presented games as the game play can be a little janky at times, but everything else that makes up the game is amazing and I could not stop playing till it was beaten. Plus 2 DOLLARS!!!!!

Or £1 for UK'ers. This is just an awesome deal, I've been meaning to get it for ages and this just pushed me over the age.

I felt that this, along with Beyond Good & Evil were extrodinarily overrated.  They're good games, but because of their poor sales, many people have hyped them to Godly status.  If they had sold well back when they were released..  they definitely wouldn't be recieving so much attention.
 
But again, good games, definitely worth checking out and impossible to pass up for £1.

Psychonauts was such a good game, it almost makes me sad to see it for $2. But at least now others can enjoy it. :)

I already owned it on cd, but two dollars is worth the hassle of not running off the cd. Man I am getting lazy:P

I already have the retail version... 
 
Considering re-buying the Steam version just to have a digital copy.

If you don't buy this at this price, you're a bad person.

And here I thought I was going to avoid buying games on Steam for the rest of the winter.
