The staff at Runic Games is mainly comprised of ex- Flagship Studios employees and a few new faces coming from projects such as, Borderlands, Brother in Arms, Forza, and Warhammer Online. Two of the studio's figureheads, Max & Erich Schaefer, were project leads for Diablo II and its expansion.
