Since the next SMT will be portable my gut feeling is that Persona 5 will be portable as well, as much as I really don't want it to be.

because if anyone is thinking that persona on the ps3 means like killzone 2 graphics they are out of their fucking mind.
you will never see an atlus game that is a huge graphical powerhouse. artistically great yes super amazing graphics never.
and if anyone says demon's souls atlus is only publishing it they did not make it.

EVERYTHING!! Actually, I think it would be awesome if it came out on PSP, PS3, 360 and maybe even Wii for some reason.

How do you know a Persona game on the Xbox 360/PS3 would not be as profitable if there has not been one yet? "

oops missed the ps3 AND 360  option, don't want to keep the love to only one system.

The correct answer is all of them, or PS2. They either have to go whole-hog or play it safe.

I would love to see it on both consoles (360 and PS3) to spread the love for Persona.

I think it'll only be on the PS3 but hopefully after a while it will come to the 360. I want to play P5 damn it!

I should have voted for both. I don't want to keep a series this good to myself! No WIi, though. Atlus doesn't have the funds for more than one version, and downgrading the graphics is extra work.  
 
But, guys... wasn't it already announced that it's coming out on PS3? Probably as an exclusive? (I didn't recheck)

PS2.  Why do I say this? 
 
Well, look at the money that Atlus has raked in by developing on a platform that is over 10 years old.  Moreover, look at the fact that they are an incredibly small company, and releasing a Persona game on a next-gen console means an increase in budget that they may not see a return on.  I would much rather them develop a game on a platform they know well and provide an excellent experience than take a chance that could end up being bad news for them.

Although I'd love to see it on the 360 or PS3, I think it ends up on the PS2/Wii/PSP because of lower development costs and the possibility of reusable assets.

They would have patched a PS3 version of Persona 4 by now to fix the annoyances like no re-roll fuze button.

Even though I only have a 360 I want to see this game on the PS3, so I have a reason to buy a PS3.

i would want it on ps3 and it probable is going to be on the ps3 too (it does make the most sense..)  (but i could see a psp, ds, or 360 version...)
 
Also for the people that think atlus doesnt have the $ to get persona on the ps3 (or 360) they are moving demons souls over to the ps3 for the US and EU releases and i know it doesnt cost as much as making it but it shows that they are willing to put it on a current gen console.

The PS3 or PSP (in other wordsm whatever I've got). Though the PS2 was a great console, it's time it's laid to rest. It has sung it's swansong with Persona 4. No more!

I'd say PS3 and XBox 360, however, I think they'd only release it on PS3...

Current-gen systems, because I absolutely do not want to play this on PSP or DS, and the game being on either of those systems is far more likely than it being on PS2.
