Quick Look: Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective

The art style and writing looks amazing. I love the Ace Attorney series so this game seems to be right up my alley.

I bought it because of Giantbomb.

Ghost Trick seems pretty awesome!  These are the types of games that make me envy those who have a DS.  That and 999.

It does look like quite an adventure game for the DS, plus I think it's impossible to argue with unbridled Pomeranian enthusiasm.

Missile - 2011 Best New Character of the Year

Charming and fun. I do like that the logic of the gameplay is woven into the story. Very narrative driven.

So, I bought the game based off this quicklook... And gotta say, it is good, really good.

If this game was brought to 3d... All I can think of is Maya and that software isn't 'consumer friendly'... 
 
And I think the game director dude got a dog named Missile, which is why it cameos everywhere =P

I think I have.

Wow, I love everything about this game. The concept, the puzzle design, the characters, the animation. Pretty damn good. I think this and Okamiden will be my DS Lite's collective swan song.

Guess I have to buy a 3DS :/
 
Wasn't sure, but between Apollo Justice, Miles Edgeworth, 999, this, Professor Layton, Picross 3D, Mario & Luigi games, Shantae, and the future 3DS releases I really can't hold off on a Nintendo handheld any longer.
 
And probably a ton more I don't even know exist...

Amazing music in this game. Great animation style too. Great art direction. Just fooking great.

Professor Layton and the Precarious Aquarium?

this is the best game on the DS

Having finished the game I can say the story is one of the best from these guys.  Puzzles weren't especially difficult but they still had that element of "aha!" once the correct pattern was discovered.  There aren't a whole lot of misleading paths to take so gameplay had limited experimentation.

I love these off-beat DS games.  Seems like the DS's limitations make for much more interesting games.

This game is amazing! I spent the whole Sunday playing it and could not let go. Great story and gameplay.

The dog has the same face as PedoBear.

I am a big fan of Missle.

I would love to try giving this a play. The Phoenix Wright games were a blast, and if this is made by the same guy, I'm sure it will be too. :D Do want.
