im a slow player, trying to get as much items as I can (im still not in the "let me go to the OTHER end of the base to get that item im missing" phase tho) and just enjoying it, and im 8 hours in with 75% of the map and 65% of the items unlocked. to be fair, shave off about 1 hour off that because I got stuck in typical castlevania fation, and wasted 1 hour running in circles (or dont, since I WAS playing it afterall). Im expecting another hour or 2 (unless the game is about to end and these final 4 items I need are optional), which is pretty fucking amazing for a XBLA title in my opinion (mirror's edge lasted me 5 hours and was 60bucks >_>). Highly recomended, even for just 1 run through

Save system was pile of flying shit.
Foreground/Background shooting can get really annoying.
 
General game design choices made this game frustrating. No way in bigillion years this is 5/5.

I wonder if people will every pay full price for a 2d game like this.  It would be nice to see what this developer could do if they had a big budget, but I think most people might have it locked into their heads that 2d=cheap.

I haven't played the game, but it looks like this review shows some events that happen at the end of the game, either that or in that underground cave they have cars and streets.

Jeff you're looking pretty good these days.
 
However the game is very good, after a while and exploring I get really annoyed and just wish they'd tell me where the items are though.
