Games that became insanely popular also spawned a number of lesser, equally and even more popular games.

Freeware games are those which have their full versions legally free to download or otherwise obtain.
A game in which the "seeker" covers his/her eyes while the other players try to find a good hiding spot. It is then up to the seeker to find the hiding players.

These games are designed to be played by one person, and one person only.
A gameplay mechanic which allows the player to move faster than the normal speed. Usually for a set amount of time.
Popularized by franchises such as Resident Evil and Silent Hill, these games typically involve a strong implication of danger, vulnerable protagonists, and disturbing monsters.
For some reason, some games are named after the opposing person. Sometimes it's because the bad guy is cooler than the good guy.
Unity is a multiplatform game development suite, designed from the start for the ease of creation. It's completely free to use with a pro version available for more advanced features and export options.
An audio signal that contains noise at the same level at all frequencies. Appears on TV screens and video transmissions as static "snow".
