Introduction

Alexander & Alexandria Munro

In the single player campaign, you play Ensign Munro, which you can choose to be either male or female, in a number of levels that more or less play out like an episode of the television series that it's made for. As part as the "Hazard Team" you are sent out to do the dirty work of collecting info, finding supplies and figure out just what is going on when the ship needs you to.

Gameplay

Welcome to the bridge of the U.S.S. Voyager

Right from the beginning you'll be thrust into the action as part of that Hazard team with a few AI controlled partners on a mission to learn where the Voyager star ship is and why it has gotten there. Various weapons are at your disposal to take out the 'bad guys' and aside from the odd keycode puzzle it's more or less a shoot first ask later scenerio. The opening cinematic will explain it's story; in short you're stranded and need to find a way out of danger. Various enemies will try to stop you and your efforts but you'll meet the occassional friend along the way as well. Some of the early levels have you just exploring parts of the Voyager star ship, which are very well done with most of the television's cast modeled and voiced as characters you can interact with; these levels serve as a nice distraction to the more difficult enemy battles and provide entertaining fan service.

If the single player campaign wasn't enough game for you, the multiplayer component is just as robust. Giving you access to a 12-15 maps, all the character models of the game, as well as all the weapons and enough customization options to make your head spin you'll be entertained for a long time. Built on the Quake3 engine the action is fast paced and brutal. Bots were included so one can hone their skills before taking on a human opponent.
