A Great Start for a Zelda DS Game
After playing Wind Waker I was in shock about great that game was and it got my pick for the best game of 2003. It had excellent graphics controls and puzzles. Everything a zelda fan like me could dream for. Then I heard about the sequel The Legend of Zelda Phantom Hourglass and I was a little skeptical about the controls. But everything else looked great the graphics the story and even the multiplayer. So then I got it as a b-day present and as I new it was a sequel to Wind Waker so it still had that great cartoon art style. as I started playing I started feeling less and less worried about the controls because the controls were great and I never had a problem with them. Now I've never really cared a the story in video games so I didn't pay to much attention hear but the story was easy to follow and I won't give away to many spoilers. So first let me tell you about the negative thing which their aren't many. The game is a bit easy for long time zelda fans and it can get annoying visiting the same temple over and over again. Now the positive things as for every zelda game you get your average arsenal your boomerang, bow and arrow, and bombs, and some more stuff. The cool thing is that with the boomerang you get to draw a line on your DS on were you want it to go, and that's really fun to do. Now I Wind Waker there was the sea that you can sail and that's thats the same thing here and the sailing has been improved in Phantom Hourglass. Now all you do is draw a line on were you want to go and you'll come along traders and pirates on you way to the island. The game will probably take you probably 15-20 hours to beat it and their not much more to do after except for the multiplayer. The great part about the multiplayer is it has Nintendo Wi-fi and that there's the Zelda theme song in it. The Multiplayer is great and I won't talk about it to much but is adds a lot of play time. The Legend of Zelda is a excellent game and one of the best games on the DS not the best Zelda game but it's definitely a must buy game.
