too bad, sterling loves to do this. I find his reviews accurate, but to an extreme hyperbole. He tends to focus on a particular fault and overemphasize it because it annoyed him. A valid argument, but you need to review the game holistically, which I feel he tends not to do most of the time.
Why? There is no manual for reviewing games. If he took a great game that had one terrible part (say the blue guys in U2, or the final boss of Bioshock) and felt the need to tear it apart, he is totally within his rights to do so
