I'm on the fence when it comes to this game. I loved Fallout 3, but I'm not sure if I really want any more of it. 

Very cautiously optimistic about this. I really couldn't care less about a game's graphics as long as it's fun to play and/or has a compelling story, but the art direction looks good.

There is no art direction. The game looks like shit.

So I guess it's fifties, eh?

Looks like they still didnt fix the terrible character animations :( Atleast back in morrowind, they were so bad it was good.

I really want Fallout:  New Vegas.  Updated graphics would be nice, but I can cope with this.

I'm buying New Vegas first day but just so you know...I'll be sighing the entire time in doubt until I get home to play it.

I pre-ordered this three months ago. And I'm still ~20 days away from it. It's driving me fucking nuts, I say.

Lol. What's with all the hate on this game? It looks great, and since when did Fallout 3 look good? This game doesn't need to look good to actually be good.

Okay, I'm going to say that the engine they're working is sure is showing its age, but that doesn't mean the game looks bad by any stretch of the imagination. I love what they've done with it. It's not a drastic departure from Fallout 3, but that's what keeps it feeling like a game from the same series. The Fallout universe has its own art style that shouldn't be deviated from too far. 
  
I also thought that Fallout 3 looked fantastic, minus the animations - and particularly the (lack of) movement animations. While people were complaining that it was almost too drab and brown, I was thinking that that's what a bleak apocalyptic world is supposed to look like.

I think it looks like it's gonna be PHENOMENAL.

Pumped for this game but I dont know if I like all the color. I guess I'm more of a gray and brown sort of person.

I don't love Fallout 3, I think it's a good but flawed game. I think this will be very much he same... BUT with a better story, and thus greatly more rewarding to me at least.

I'm really excited about this.  Something about it just feels more like the old Fallouts.  I loved Fallout 3, but I think they spent more time hammering home the whole pre-war social satire/alternate future-history stuff.  The old Fallouts felt more like they were in their own after-the-bomb world.

I'm excited to play what is hopefully the LAST GAME BETHESDA (or Obsidian) EVER MAKES ON THE GAMEBRYO ENGINE. 
 
Jesus christ, the animations are so fucking terrible, they were dated in 2006 when Oblivion came out. 
 
I will play stupid amounts of this game, but the animations and graphics of that engine need to be updated, or they need to use something else.

Dang, I love the idea of a big open world post apocalyptic game, but this just looks like more of the same horrible that was in Fallout 3. Oh well. Maybe Fallout 4 will be good.

What is really hyping me is the fact that the original Fallout guys are working on this.

ye... not too excited 'bout this. FO3 didn't do it for me either... more of the same in a new location... is still more of the same.

Holy shit. The more I see of this game the more I'm amazed I ordered the CE version.
 
I don't think I've ever spent as much money on a game that looks so fucking dated as this.

The bright neon colors mixed with a brown background doesn't look nice, in my view.

Alright, this just turned into my most anticipated game of the year.

Yeah, the engine is really dated and looks terrible in most spots, but I still got kinda excited when I saw some areas. Makes me want to explore them! If it's as good as Fallout 3, then I'll definitely pick it up.

I was really excited for this game but all these videos they've been putting out just show me it's the same old Fallout 3 with little to no improvements. I'll pass and buy Borderlands GOTY edition :)

I have no problems with the ugliness of this game, in fact I like that it reminds of me Fallout 3. The one problem I do have though (however minor) is how they've smoothed over some of the rough edges, they've made it look a tiny bit cartoon-y, not as dirty as Fallout 3.

looks awesome, but I think a lot of the new textures and bright colors mesh horribly with the fallout's art. plus this game looks shitty, fallout 3 looked awesome on a cranked up pc, i wonder if they were just demoing with low graphics.

hey is it just me or do some of those guns seem a bit  too modern for the fallout aesthetic...

a dated game engine is a dated game engine. After Oblivion it was looking ropey and Fallout 3 just about got away with it but this time I am not paying full price for this game. I'm gonna wait, get a GOTY or somesuch cheap.
