I still think they'll call it the Xbox 4000. The reason they called the Xbox 2 the 360 was because they wanted it to have a 3 in the name, so it sounded as new and technologically advanced as PlayStation 3. So logically, they're going to do the same thing for the Xbox 3.

I actually doubt it will have a number after its name, they need a name for names sake. I know I call my 360 the xbox and I will with the next console no matter what they end up calling it unless they don't call it an xbox.

I think they should drop the Xbox name and come up with something new. It would make it seem like something fresh to the industry and be more appealing than just increasing the number at the end.

Yeah, Jeff brought up just what I was thinking. If it was called 1080, there could be a lot of confusion between whether people were talking about the snowboarding game or the new console. 1080 Snowboarding was such a rad game that I don't think they should overshadow it like that.

I think they will avoid calling it "xbox 3" because when the PS4 comes out, it will appear to be inferior technology (which is why I assume the current xbox was not called "xbox 2").

I still don't understand why the 360 even had the name "Xbox" in it. There was no X whatsoever! They should bring back the original Xbox console but make it smaller and high tech.
